I think KG deserves to here also....when I think of skills I think of those with raw talent, that is unmatched for the most part.
Penny Hardaway, back in his Orlando Magic days, was pretty darn talented. But you can't go with anyone other than 23...
I used to love watching Penny play, it's a shame injuries cut his career short.....he was an amazing PG.
1. Michael Jordan 2. Kobe Bryant 3. Hakeem Olajuwon 4. Allen Iverson 5. Vince Carter (His mad dunks and other plays. And we all know about the big injury he had and if he only had worked harder...)
Are we talking most talented? what does most skilled mean? does it mean best player? Everyone is listing players, but hasn't explained why they feel the player is the "most skilled".

Skill can be the ability to shoot at anywhere, left/right hand, ball handling, eye vision, clutch, passing, stealing, blocking, dunking, jumping, etc...But at the end of the day, I would say it is a toss up between Kobe and MJ. Both can do whatever they want on the court, at any given time. Both have the mindset, the killer, the fire, and of course the ball to back it up when need to. But to pick one, I have to give my man KB an edge simply for the fact that Kobe has a better ball handling and better range than MJ. I can't seem to find a thing that MJ does that Kobe can't do. If you can, please let this dude know a thing or two!

But for his career, he's only shooting a little more than 33% from three, and even though he has more fancy dribble moves I don't know if I'd call him a better ball handler (Jordan created more offense while not turning it over as often). But if Kobe has an edge on Jordan in terms of range, than you have to admit Jordan was better in the midrange game and also finishing around the basket. I think Jordan was better at getting himself good shots as well, while Kobe (though he's getting better) tends to take some unnecessarily difficult shots. Oh, and Jordan was obviously better at getting steals .

Oh, and Jordan was obviously better at getting steals .</div>Yeah and we can't say that neither that Kobe is better making those "though and diffucult" shots, beacuse Jordan's highlight reel consists of some sick Air Jordan plays and reverse lay-up's and all that trash. ;D But it's true that Kobe has a better crossover than Jordan had and maybe handling, too. BTW - Is Kobe faster than Jordan was ?
