It's really annoying how nonchalantly he acts everytime he's caught not playing defense (after the other team scores easily), or whenever he picks up a foul. He seems like he doesn't really care about the game. I bet a lot of my dislike for him stems from his not playing defense. Ugh.
Can't judge a person by how he or she "looks". If anything its an advantage for our player to not show his emotions so that the other team doesn't feed off of it.

Wow bro trust me you are not the only one who sees it. He annoys the hell out of me. When he got his extension he said he wanted to be a Laker for life or something like that but he has a great way of showing it I actually tolerated the guy his rookie and sophmore years he seemed to sacrifice himself for the team and play within the offense now he's a loser. He has a chip on his shoulder and with a swaggger borderline arrogance (sorry bud you havent done anything in this league to be cocky) and no longer dives for loose balls or plays tough he is relegated to a shooting guard hungry for the limelight in trapped in a bigs body. He needs to get off his high horse and be a role player. Did anyone see his reaction when he stole the ball against the rockets only to lose it right after and walk away like nothing happened just shaking his head and not caring no wonder he gets benched he doesnt look like he's happy to be a laker even though he said it was his dream. Pathetic.
I dunno, I rather have him act the way he does then Smush when he gets that look on his face when he gets called for a foul. Oh man does that bug me. I actually don't mind a smile, it's not a bad smile, it's a smile that you can't believe the foul or something like that. Kobe does it all the time too, don't see the big deal.
I dont mind a smile either but when its directed at the official when the ball is in play and your defensive assigment is already halfway down the court then it bugs me.
Cook is inconsistent on defense, and a terrible rebounder for his size. The only thing he does well is take charges, but those come in batches. Cook has the bad habit of defending with his hands instead of his feet, and gets caught off balance or on a player's hip, and plays himself out of position to defend. I don't see any improvement from him on either side of the ball since last year. With this new extension Cook needs spend all summer bulking up and filling out his frame. I remember he was #1 or in the top 3 during the Chicago pre-draft in strength performance. However, he's been soft since he's put on the Purple and Gold. Cook needs to add muscle mass, get better conditioned, and also learn some post moves. Smush has a serious attitude problem. Everytime he's yanked he heads to the bench with a scowl and gives the evil eye to the coaching staff and then rips his head band off and tosses it.
It used to annoy me when Odom did it, but I believe it's the way he show's he's disappointed. Instead of getting angry at himself, his way of showing he's pissed off is by having a cocky laugh.
It doesnt bother me when odom or kobe do it but guys like smush and cook havent proven themselves in this league to be smug and throw tantrums.
Cook sometimes reminds me of Devean George. I remember George was lazy and always had the goofy smile
