<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The first All-Star voting results are expected to be announced Thursday, but it's questionable whether the Bulls will get any All-Stars even with five players?Kirk Hinrich, Ben Gordon, Ben Wallace, Luol Deng and Andres Nocioni?on the ballot.

Among the Bulls' leaders, Deng is the top scorer, ranked 28th in the league. Wallace is 18th in rebounding, Hinrich is 18th in assists, Deng is ninth in shooting, Hinrich is 19th in three-point shooting with Nocioni 10th, Deng is 32nd in steals and Wallace is 19th in blocks.

The Bulls have not had an All-Star since 1998.

Asked about making the All-Star team, Nocioni said, "C'mon, man. It is impossible. I am not a star. Luol Deng is playing really well. He can be an All-Star. Ben Wallace too. I think everybody. Except Noce."

There have been non-starters who have made the All-Star team, the last two being Kobe Bryant in 1998 and Chris Gatling in 1997.</div>

What happened last year when he was asked to be apart of the 3-point contest?

I'm pretty sure I remember hearing that he said that he's not a 3-point shooter he just gets lucky.

Stand up guy...and a great baller.

The Bulls will hopefully have someone make the team through coach selection. With Shaq leading the all star voting, for no reason, I don't see Wallace making it since Howard will probably be the coaches pick.

Yeah, but a lot of times he's sorted of acted the "thug" in a few altercations. He's definately a great player, and really efficient, imo he should get voted in by the coaches.

I hate how Shaq is leading in voting. He hasn't done anything to warrant being voted for. It's such crap. If you're injured, you don't deserve to be there. It's like the Carter thing a few years ago. Thankfully, he was grateful enough and gave MJ his starting spot, Shaq would never do that.

Bulls have great players who are not the allstar-caliber players. To me, the whole starting lineup for Bulls are all abover-average players who yet are not allstars. I felt that Ben Wallace might have a chance to make it and end this drought but it seems as if Ben Wallace might get bumped out by Dwight Howard and Shaq.

I don't think any Bulls will make it this year. They are having good years, but all of them contribute, so no huge stat mark that fans usually look at and vote. But, Big Ben was our best chance, and he hasn't put up great numbers like he has in the past when he did make it. Shaq is leading for no reason, and Howard has emerged this year.

Shaq is expected to be out for the all star game, so I wouldn't be surprised if Howard started while Wallace came off the bench.
