The battle will require 3 verses from each competitor or it will last 48 hours (whichever happens first). Verses will have a maximum length of roughly 24 lines. At the end of the battle, the 4 judges and a popular vote will determine who advances into the 2nd round. Good Luck.

    Good luck, Skillz

MrJ will be the victor in this battle; your rhymes are just unworthy
You’re barely lukewarm while I’m tighter than DREAM’S jersey
In terms of experience, I’m like twice your age, even if I’m in my teens
It’s not even my hood, but like Kevin James I’m still the King of Queens
Eating any poster that’s placed in my path, so call me a cannibal user
Matter fact the way I’m slaughtering this cat call me an animal abuser
Every one of my verses are still the bomb, and of course they’re atomic, too
You winning? We have a better chance seeing Kramer hosting ComicView
Like Illmatic, I make classics when I’m in my N.Y. State of Mind
Of course I am still Representing New York until the end of time
It Ain’t Hard to Tell, on your side I’m like a thorn
Still making your Life a Bitch, like LimeWire porn
It’s not even Halftime and look how far I have arisen
Even if The World is Yours, a victory against me isn’t
So, I’ll say One Love since my bars are tighter than prison’s

    Good Luck Mr.J

This the upcoming of Skillz so dont get it mistaken
Step 1 for JBB's most feared and most hated
I flow lyrics that Rappers get scared of like Freddy and Jason
With determination and fight like last years George Mason
Comparing yourself to Kevin James, Aint that a bitch
You aint the king of queens but you do need a Lyrical Hitch
My flow will run down ya block like the best days of Jay and Nas
Revolutionizing the rap game like the Harlem Rennaissance
You're predictable and easily shittable, ya better start to panic
Your creativity wasnt even creative, You just ruined iLLMATIC
This guy already know he lost, he's like Wayne going against BIG
Thats why his whole set is blank, he's waiting for the Loser's Sig
The kid from Queens going to be victorious, Harlem dont gotta a chance
We're the NY Giants, you guys are as small as an army of Ants
My words will back down every bar you create
The complexity and illness would even make ya mom do the Harlem Shake
My talents are unlimited and I'm just starting to sore
Main Reason why you're already looking at the Victor of the New York Civil War

Karma gets the bye, so I’m the best since I’m slated second
Created to slaughter, flow like water, the most hated weapon
Thought Skillz was smart until he asked that belated question
Aspiring to be on top, but your plan’s just been foiled
These posters didn’t know I was nasty like Carter’s boils
Talking a little careless, but your rhyme scheme’s a disgrace
Your flow is like Iverson sigs on the site—all over the place
Skillz, you know you had eleven syllables in your fourth to last line
The next was nineteen, and you think your flow is better than mine?
Even if you break the rapping rules, at least be clever though
But flushing the toilet is the only time your sh!t will ever flow
Skillz is still my homie, but believe me, I won’t hesitate to slay fam
If he’s a Giant in NY why’s the gap between us bigger than Strahan’s?
You can’t see me, I’m on a level past your line of vision
Leaving no remainders in this tourney like perfect division
I got complex lyrics mixed with hard punches—a Pun-like trait
Thought you could steal a victory, but I’m Robbin’ son like Nate*

    *Robinson like Nate, get it?

It?s the Second Verse of the infamous Mr. J Homicide
First to go from my JBB Rappers Complete Genocide
Tearing up his mind and thoughts causing his Brain to Disfunction
Leaving him retarted inside, a Legend?s total Destruction
J running scared now, the underdog is bringing the heat
Thought it would be easy but finds himself losing to Fresh Meat
The tables are turning, and now NY Has a Change of Power
The Kid with Sick skillz against a ghetto Simon Cowell
Mr.J knows his bars are garbage so he started Judging me
Only time he flows like water is when he?s on his Knees
These Perpetual rhymes leaving you cross-eyed like Moochie Norris
J accumulating Fear and Terror while wondering where the door is
He knows his rhymes are past their prime like Eric Moulds
Notice why this man?s only has a few words in Bold
He tried to be the man and make an Ass of Me
Ended up looking more foolish than Carmelo Anthony
Reading my bars will make this place feel like Hell
Call this man an Angel because he took more shots than Sean Bell

It took this clown Skillz two days to reply and he?s talking about homicide
But when this retard posted that trashy verse, he just committed suicide
Talking about AF being a bandwaggoner, when you were reppin? Kobe Bryant
And after Sunday?s beating, he has on a McNabb sig. Aren?t you a NY Giant?
He should change his name to John Kerry seeing the way he flip-flops
He barely flows like drip-drops, doesn?t belong in the forum of hip-hop
You bolded it, but like sitting on the vacuum that whole verse sucked ass
Cruising to a loss, from your very first reply you already ran out of gas
But using my composition of lyrical projectiles as my ammunition
I got the opposition in a position to request a rightful submission
In addition, under no condition will I not receive my due recognition
This lyrical magician is schooling you while you haven?t paid tuition
It?s not hard to envision me ripping you up into even more shreds
Leave voting decisions wider than Shelden Williams? forehead
Like the Atlantic Division, you just could not be any more dead
Rhyming like a sharp incision, just continue to ignore the thread

Every bar I read, Every rhyme I write makes me more thirsty
Making my way to the top by making Mr J beg for Mercy
Im in it to Win it , Gay metaphors wont Threaten
Mr.J is a overrated rapper, I said that and Meant it
Never said I was a Giants fan, maybe you need some Clearasil
I despise them with a passion, my team is from Iladel
GotSkillz is the last person you should laugh and mock
My retaliation would leave you braindead just like I did to Locke
Tearing and Trashing your rebuttals like a Tasmanian Devil
Making more people bang their heads than when they’re listening to Metal
Your bravery is recognized for battling the Superior and Super Lyrical
But you’re in too deep, beating me would me a mistake and even a miracle.
The end result is a tarnished career and a dosage of Lyrical Pain
Next time you’ll see J he’ll begging for quarters on the Subway Trains.

    Good battle Mr.J/

MrJ was far better in every facet. Probably my favorite of the entire first round. Skillz didn't do too bad, but he's not on MrJ's level.

GotSKillz still has to improve in everything, and hopefully he does so in the next tourney, because that was pretty bad. MrJ had far superior vocabulary, better flow (average wordplay though) and he really tossed in a few punches.

GotSkillz92, go check up on some sites (posted here before) on how to keystyle and improve in those key areas. Get your school on.

My vote's going to MrJ. His verses were much more consistent and he didn't have many fillers, whereas GotSkillz was really just overwhelmed. I don't think he did that badly, just that the calibre of his opponent was too much to handle.

    My votes goes to: MrJ.
