I have been very impressed with Travis Diener lately. Ever since he has been getting significant playing time, he has been really productive and a great energizing for our team. Last night, he had 16 points, 3 assists, and he shot 5-6 from the field in 26 minutes. One of the things I love about him is that he is always hustling and giving 110% on the court. When we do something stupid, he is the one you see cringing. When he makes a mistake, he seems upset and frustrated. He puts the team over himself and just wants to win. His attitude is contagious out there and I love the way he carries himself on the court. I like when Diener and Ariza are on the court together because both are hustle guys who give their all every single play. It's those type of guys that this team needs if we want to go back to our winning ways.
Not to mention that he looked much better running the offense then Arroyo. I wouldn't be opposed to starting him and putting Arroyo back into the role that he's the most comfortable, coming off the bench.

I remember one play where the seven footer Primoz Brezec got a rebound and little Travis just ripped it out of his arms. Most guys would have given up on that play but Diener got in there and forced the turnover. Also, have you guys noticed that if our team loses momentum or turns the ball over, Diener looks visibly upset. He definently seems to care about this team.
Diener is the man. Hands down. He's also a better scoring threat than Arroyo. Arroyo should get lesser minutes than Diener.

Man, I love that Bo Outlaw block. Then Ariza missed the layup, and Diener finished it off with an offensive rebound and putback. What's up with that?? Man, that was insane!!!!! Talk about your new heart & hustle right there. Diener and Outlaw should win Hustla Player of the Year.
Couple good articles about Little Diener today. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Orlando Magic guard Keith Bogans guesses that opposing teams take one look at Travis Diener and laugh . . . at least to themselves. Bogans knows, though, that the pale, little Wisconsin kid with the scraggly beard is the secret weapon you take to the park if there's money on the game. "Just like Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes," Bogans said, referring to the basketball movie White Man Can't Jump. "He don't look like much, but Travis will kill 'em with that jump shot." Diener took it to the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets Wednesday night in the Magic's 86-83 victory. He scored 10 of his 13 points off the bench in the fourth quarter and held his own offensively against Chris Paul, the league's reigning rookie of the year. Said Hornets Coach Byron Scott of Diener, "We relaxed against him and almost forget about him. We said that he's a pretty good shooter, so don't leave him open. He made us pay."</div> Read the rest <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">ORLANDO -- Travis Diener has likely seen the last of his time on the inactive list. The Orlando Magic can only hope they've seen the last of blowing 20-point leads to inferior opponents. Diener helped bail out the Magic with 10 fourth-quarter points as they rallied for an 86-83 victory Wednesday night over the New Orleans Hornets at Amway Arena. Nine of those points, including two 3-point field goals, came during a 17-3 run after the Magic (17-10) had fallen behind by five to the Hornets, who have now lost 11 of their last 13 games.</div> Read the rest
