vc=solution to our shooting problems...i am scared that he would interfere with dwights development...he sure would put butts in seats though...it would also be nice to see someone do a windmill in a magic jersey again

That would pretty much ensure that I never go to a Magic game again, and stop watching most games on TV. **** Vince Carter. He is a horrible teammate, and horrible human being.

That pretty much covers it. [IMG]

I've got photographs from inside Vince Carter's house.

Some guy was killed during building, as he fell from the ceiling of Vince's personal gym/court. His house is disgusting-- he hasn't done anything to deserve something so lavish. I found out he knocked up his girlfriend before he announced it too. It's the reason they are (were?) getting married. [IMG]

I just don't like the guy for what he does on the court. Any player who doesn't give his all and gives up on teams isn't someone I want to see in a Magic jersey. In Toronto he gave up on his team and let his teammates down. Everyone said he changed when he went to New Jersey but now it looks as if he is starting to give up there too. I don't want him in Orlando when there's no guarentee he'll give maximum effort. Allen Iverson was bad for this team because he jacks up tons of shots and would slow down the development of Dwight Howard. Vince Carter would do the same thing but without giving the effort that Iverson does every game.

Vince Carter alienated all his teammates in Toronto too. Getting on a plane, with his entourage, not talking to any of his teammates. Jameer Nelson is the antithesis, and our camaraderie would be severely compromised with Carter. Good call, regarding Iverson.

Vince Carter is Tracy McGrady's cousin; nothing more needs to be said.

You can take Darko off that list as well as Redick and Battie. They all haven't done anything this season. I thought you didn't want Carter?? I would rather prefer Lewis.

That doesn't mean that they won't produce. Who thought at the beginning of the year that we'd have Ariza penciled in as a starter for the future?

    I still don't want Carter.

You DON'T want Rashard Lewis, especially for the price he will undoubtedly demand.

Take it from a Sonics "fan", you are begging for disappointment. You're gonna hate the fact that he is soft as a kitten, refuses to play defense, and disappears for stretches of EVERY game.

What the Magic really need is a real playmaker. Jameer is NOT it from what I've seen this season; someone stable who will cut down on the teams turnovers and provide a good outlet jumper for Dwight..

Chuancey would be a good option for 2-3 years but after that its anyones guess. I would rather have someone younger who can play with this team for years to come IMO the best avalible option for this team is Rashard Lewis

No, you need a guy that plays defense, will control tempo without turning the ball over, and feed the post..

None of which Lewis has ever done in his entire career..

Neither has VC. In Lewis's defense, have they really had anyone worthy to throw the ball down in the post?

Unless we give up Diener, Dooling, and/or Arroyo then I would toss him to the side. Last thing we want is a jam at the PG spot.

Arroyo is worthless, Dooling is worthless, and Jameer Nelson kind of sucks...

If we signed Chauncey, I would expect trades to precede or follow, anyway.

Rashard isn't a great defender but he isn't as bad as people say he is, He averages a steal and a half a game which is better than anyone on our team right now plus he is 6'10 and can block/alter some shots. I would say his defense is probly the most underrated part of his game. Besides Seattle doesn't seem to be a defensive team anyways and they probly don't practice as much defense as offense, I think that would be alot different if he played for Orlando.

I'm not advocating VC at all. I think that would be the worst acquisition possible with regards to Dwight Howard's development.

I'm saying you need Chauncey Billups.

And Highness.. I live in Washington, and undoubtedly have seen more Lewis games than you have, and TRUST ME..

He may be "able to" play defense, just like Adam Morrison may be "able to," or my 80+ year old grandmother for that matter

But he never has, and sure as hell never will. He is quite possibly the worst defender for his size in the league. And he demands shots. And he has bad shot selection. And despite the fact that he operates with a mismatch 80% of the time in Seattle (ie him against some 6'6 SF), he is unable to become a dominant post player.
