Where did I come from? And how do I not understand the concept of sarcasm. Where did your brother come from? I didnt say anything. And btw, his whole meaning in that post was basically saying that Wade gets all the calls in the world, and possibly more than Lebron and Kobe.

Lebron doesn't get as much love from the officials? What the hell NBA are you watching? Lebron gets as many or more calls than Kobe, Wade or anybody. I can't even count the number of and-1's he gets off of stupid ticky-tack fouls. He also gets away with travels every second play (Washington series). But then again maybe you don't understand NBA rules, just like you and your brother clearly don't understand the concept of sarcasm.</div>

I dont understand NBA rules? Yea, rite. Its easy to talk smack on an internet forum.

LeBron actually deserves his free-throws more than Kobe or Wade. Oh, and just a side note. Can you change the "*Vince*DWade*Bosh*Tyrus*." The stars make it look like a 8 year old girls profile.

You're sick. They are on the same level. It looks like the league has decided that Wade is the face of the league in the playoffs last season against Dallas (which is why alot of fair weather fans started to leave) so he is starting to get the benefits of that. Kobe isn't exactly the past but is not the future if you know what I mean. They were talking about some of the calls that these guys got that Jordan didn't get.
    </div>

I think me saying "half as much" was an exxageration, but Wade still gets the benefit of the doubt a little more than Kobe IMO. I think this is because the NBA is trying to push Wade and Lebron to be the new posterboys.

As for Game 6 of the 2002 WCf...I watched it and yeah, that was a travesty of officiating. It was blatant that the Kings were screwed over by the refs (Kobe even got away with elbowing Bibby during the closing minutes). However, CLEARLY shoving off the superstar of the other team in a crucial game of the NBA Finals' closing minutes and getting away with it is pretty hard to beat.

Rip Hamilton whines about every call against him. He is far worse than what I've seen from Kobe, or anybody in fact. Sheed doesn't whine that much, it seems like he bottles it up and then unleashes it all at once a couple of times a game.

IMO Wade gets more "benefit of the doubt calls" where if theres any contact at all he gets FTs, though Kobe comes close but Kobe bitches to the refs significantly more. LeBron doesn't bitch that much compared to other superstars from what I've seen of him (not that much). Also, another thing that Kobe does that infuriates me is when he goes up and doesn't even make an attempt to make a shot but just tries to draw a foul, Wade does it sometimes but LeBron never does that. I love to watch guys like LeBron, A.I., Elton Brand, etc who are always playing 100% with all their heart and are tough and not going for a puss move like Kobe, Ginobli, Dirk, etc.

As much as I hate to admit it, your right. Sometimes when Kobe shoots the ball, he tries to get tangled up in the opposing defender to draw the foul instead of actually shooting it.

If you don't like Kobe as a person, that's fine, but people that get calls but don't complain to the refs still affect the game in the same fashion. What I'm saying is that you should dislike all players that get calls they don't deserve, I don't understand how one can say the others that don't open their mouths are not going after "puss" moves. You sound very bitter. Spread you're bitterness to all so that you will include AI, LeBron, etc. in future lists.

Vince sometimes does the funniest/most annoying things to try to get a foul called. One of his favourites (that I've seen) is to drive head first into the lane (usually from the left side) and then he proceeds to just throw up his hands up in the air (the ball falls to the floor), and he lets out a yell, which results in the refs obliging his scream with a foul call.

I accept the fact that there are alot of players getting a ton of calls in their favor however the guys I listed that I like don't bitch to the refs every time they throw up a brick and they don't go out of their way to draw fouls but instead play the game and try to beat their opponent straight up.

I am bitter because my favorite team, the Warriors, get bent over by the Lakers and their trusty sidekicks wearing the black and white uniforms 4 times every season. I've seen it happen alot of times, hence my detailed post of the Laker gameplan on the first page that no one argued with (save one comment that really didn't help Kobe's side of the argument and only pointed out one sentence as disagreeable).

For the record I don't have much problem with Kobe as a person.

<div class="quote_poster">Run BJM Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah, Kobe whines alot but its really the refs fault because they appease him and Kobe knows whining works. Look at what it did for him last night, the Lakers came back from down 20+ points and they showed how many times the Lakers have come back from huge deficits just this season. He and Phil Jackson just harrass the refs all day and they give in which usually makes it impossible for teams to hold a lead in the 4th quarter, the basic strategy that I've seen from the Lakers when they're down is to have Phil and Kobe whine and bitch, Kobe literally stop trying to score and just get try to the line. He'll get to the FT line about 10-15 times in the 4th quarter, Kwame and Mihm can go over the back of anyone and knock anyone to the floor without a foul, all of a sudden the game is tied and Kobe actually decides to play and hits the game winning shot(s). It wouldn't be so infuriating if Kobe just played to put the ball in the hoop and beat you, then its a tough los but legit because you got beat, but instead he just flails into big men of the opposing team and goes to the line then your team gets mugged by Kwame on the other end with no foul and the process repeats.</div>

You're referring to this post? You make claims that are quite difficult to prove, fellow. There's not much to say besides the fact that with the help of the refs or not, the Warrior's have always had issues, they're not like the Mavs (a great team) getting screwed by the Refs in the Finals.

I love when he does the pumpfake to get the defender up and then gets the contact and shoots. Sometimes he gets a 2+1, sometimes not but it's fun to watch anyway.

It's the drive......the jump into a lane clogged with defenders......the clearly audible yell Eeeevvvvveeerrrrryyyy time....and usually a whistle will follow because I'm assuming it follows the flow chart. In the Rocket game I did'nt hear those whistles as much, to my delight, because it seemed as though the refs were calling LEGITIMATE attempts at a shot instead of obligatory attempts to draw fouls.

One thing I don't like in the league in general is when you don't see the offensive foul called when the shooter initiates the contact on an airborne defender. And I mean if the defender is jumping straight up or diagonally to the shooter so there cannot be contact at a legitimate shot and the shooter waits, and clearly jumps directly into him. And we all know this isn't just Kobe, so this is just a call that isn't made enough.

So now Kobe's a martyr. And like I said before, I don't consider Vince on Kobe's level. So if Vince didn't like a call. Stormed of the floor and hit the showers, I'd just shrug.

Thread starter, I noticed it too.

Kobe cries WAY too much man, it's starting to really get on my nerves.

I'm sure A LOT of the times the ref's probably missed the call, but it seems like whenever Kobe misses the layup because it was his bad, he gives the refs this dirty look like they missed something just to fool us (the fans) that that was the reason he missed it.

Look, I think a lot more Kobe haters would like Kobe more if he didn't whine so damn much about everything. You're the best player in the league, chill, no need to cry about every non-call against you, jesus.
