Sorry if I'd rather use a * than a "l". I don't see how it's relevant. And don't talk to me about being an 8 year old girl, when you're 16 and 110 lbs.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">One thing I don't like in the league in general is when you don't see the offensive foul called when the shooter initiates the contact on an airborne defender. And I mean if the defender is jumping straight up or diagonally to the shooter so there cannot be contact at a legitimate shot and the shooter waits, and clearly jumps directly into him. And we all know this isn't just Kobe, so this is just a call that isn't made enough. </div>

I think for the most part, the refs are pretty good in regards to verticality calls. If an offensive player tries to initiate contact with a defender jumping straight up, usually the refs won't call a foul (I've seen this happen many times to Kobe and Vince). However, if a defender is out of control when jumping or is jumping forward, a foul is usually called, as it should be.

I could put 130 or 140, but I chose not to lie. Now, I dont see any weight OR height on your profile, so I guess its ok for me to think you're an obese midget. Still think the * is gay though.

LMAO @ hustler's post. I remember that and thinking, WTF? I only read the first and last pages of this thread, but I say that Chris Webber is the biggest whiner in NBA history. Every call on him or his team, and he looks like Morrison up there, like if he's gonna cry.

    When did this happen?

Seeing this reminds me of the episode of Making The Band when this Caucasian rapper was crying because he felt the stress of being a white rapper and always being disrespected. And when Diddy was told about it (he wasn't there when it happened) he asked his assistant if he literally teared up, didn't go to the bathroom, and cried on national tv. He followed up with the fact that he is a black man who can't catch a cab in New York in the front of his business. Anyway, I understand emotion and possibly a little mist, but you can't blubber on television. Keep your head covered with your shirt or towel. I'd rather see a guy just take off and run to the back than have the look of a lost parent or sibling.

Well just know that this 8 year-old girl would whoop your ***. I choose not to list my height and weight because it is kind of pointless, and I know half the people on here lie about all that stuff anyway. If all that strength and weakness stuff were honest, then half the guys on here would be playing AAU, or listed as top recruits to Colleges.

When Gonzaga lost to UCLA in the Elite Eight I believe. This is a different circumstance, as it applies to Adam crying over losing instead of whining to the refs. I don't mind the fact that he cried, because it showed his heart and showed that he wanted to win so badly...a trait lacked by many players these days.

Because it's hatred for Kobe. Wade is a pretty boy, nice kid and very marketable. Kobe's image isn't quite as glamorous, so Wade and other young stars get passes. All the while Kobe gets the bad end of the stick. Kobe's easily the best player in the league like I've been sayin for years, even after last years championship. How many of you are still in denial?
