<div class="quote_poster">shapecity Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">A game like last night is why I'm addicted to sports. Holding onto hope when your team is down by an insane amount of points and fans from the otherside are rubbing it in and then to have your team fight back and win the game.

Those IN YOUR FACE moments are the best.

So how nervous did you feel when the Rockets went on that 26-1 run in the 4th quarter. You must have taken a lot of heat.

On the radio Mycal Thompson kept saying "No need to panic yet" after Rockets got within 15. "No need to panic yet" after the Rockets got within 10 points. "Ok time to panic the lead is only 7 points now." LMFAO.</div>

Man you dont even know lol.... The Rockets have a group of fans named the "Rockets Rowdies" They have to be the most obnoxious fans ever. They surrounded me when I entered the arena and then surrounded me at halftime when I went to get food. What made it worse was that i was sitting just 10 rows down infront of them. When the Lakers blew it wide open I kept standing up And turning around to yell at them. I was yelling stuff like "ohh that hurt" when Kobe and Rad-Man hit the 3's. Then when the Lakers got up by 27, I said there is no way the Rockets can make up this much ground. Sure enough, here they come. The fans were going nuts around me. I must admit I was super nervous. Kobe just couldn't get a shot to fall but they pulled it out. I turned around to run up to the "Rocket Rowdies" and they just started walking away. I still ran up in their faces and they just kept saying, "that was a good game." I was like, "yeah ya'll had ya'lls hearts broken." "ya'll thought you were going to win didn't you?" It was great.

I knew we would miss Odom, but I had no idea exactly how much. It showed in that first quarter. The additional pressure on Kobe bringing the ball up and initiating the offense every single time kind of got both him and the team out of their groove early on. They became a little predictable I guess.

The impressive thing about the win for me was that this Lakers team seems to play hard even when they are down. They make mistakes true... but they do play hard... and the body language out there on the floor was great. You could see Kobe encouraging them and trying to keep their heads in the game and it worked.

Can't someone work on Kwame and Bynum's jumping ability off season please. I see no reason why both of them can't have above the rim games.

Coincedentally, one of the leaders of the Rocket Rowdies is a member here, THE DREAM. He was probably leading the charge that night. LOL.

HAHHA, good stuff Shape, sounds like you had a hell of a night.

Gotta love nights like last night. Fortunately, our team came out on top and won the game. As exciting as last night's game was, I woulda been really bummed if we lost that game.

Yao was amazing last night, when T-Mac gets back, this team is gonna be scary good.

I can also definitely see Lakers-Rockets as the 4-5 matchup for the 1st round of Playoffs.

    <div class="quote_poster">GameFace Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">He still would have needed two more rebounds...</div>

He had 53 points 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Kwames two blown passes hear the win would have earned him a triple.

Yeah well I thought he had like 6-7 of them last season alone, I was really surprised when I read that he only has 13, lol.

Edit: lol, he did have seven 50 point games last season, this is his second this season, how many more do we expect him to have? I'll say he'll have a total of 5 by seasons end.

I'm confident he'll have another 60 point game some time this season.

What a game the other night. Great ato see the Lakers able to come back from down 21 to win it. Huge game from Kobe, yet, despite his what, 52, something like that, I think the key to our victory was Smush. He played great in the 2nd half, easily his best basketball of the year. He played great defense in the 2nd half and was finally knocking down some shots. Kobe though, was the man the other night. If it wasn't for him just taking the game over, we'd have never came back. He was in one of those zones after the first quarter and it's a good thing.

Oh, and durvasa, I have to disagree with you. I would have to say that Lamar is just as improtant to us as TMac is to the Rockets. We're 4-18 without him, so it's not like we're playing too great without him. Beyond that, his versatility is nearly impossible for us to replace. To show this, he's 2nd on the team in scoring, leads in assists and rebounds. That's not easy to replace, and we most certainly haven't done it. Beyond stats, he creates matchup issues galore for the opponent. His versatility is just a huge weapon and the Lakers aren't even close to the same team without him, and, I would definitely argue that he's just as important as TMac.
