This game was hard to watch at times, especially in the first half, the Cats played tough defense to pull out a good win.

Tubby's decision to play Morris and Woo together in the second half was one I would like to see in future games as well. Woo played a solid game and was key when Morris was on the bench.

I love this Freshmen class!! Without Jodie Meeks we would have lost this game. Porter, Jasper, and Stevenson all played well.

No boos for Thomas today!! He made a clutch basket and an important block and rebound when we needed them. hope the jerks who booed him feel like asses now.

Let's face it though. UK still is not a top 25 team. Defensively they are fine, but offensively they stink. Turnovers and rebounding are still big issues. But hopefully, these problems can be fixed over the next month during the easy part of our schedule. If so, we can become a good team who can make a run in the NCAA tourney. If not, well, let's not go there.

What do you think Kentucky's biggest problem is on offense? I only saw them for a couple games in Maui, but it seemed like they were really hurting to replace Rondo and Sparks. They didn't seem real good in the halfcourt offense unless they could get Morris going down low; that used to be where Sparks could hurt an opponent shooting it outside, and Rondo wasn't a good half-court player but could find a way to make things happen. But that's not a real informed opinion, cuz I haven't seen them much. 8

turnovers, turnovers, turnovers, thats the problem which isnt like a Tubby Smith coached team. Plus when they see Morris doubled they seem to stay away from him, also he gets alot of dumb touch calls which you never seen called Morris that is.

We lack a floor general for sure. The freshman Jasper is going to be good, but he is not there yet. And we must get more from Joe Crawford and bobby Perry in games. The times today that we ran today and played a fastbreak style, we really took it to them. Same for last week. I don't know if Tubby called them back, or they just don't want to play that way, but either way, we need to start playing more uptempo. We are a totally different team, IMO.

But what I was encouraged by on the offense was the fact we lost our best player (Morris) and still got enough points to win.

Now if one day we put the offense and the defense on the same page, we may just surprise some people.

But with this team it is one game at a time.
