Hmmm...not sure if I like it. I don't think the Vikings could have gotten much more this year, but I would have preferred to see a 100% conditional arrangement that would reward us if he tees off next year.

I think Miami got a really good deal here as I do believe that Pepp will return to form.

If healthy Cpep certainly makes the Phins a legit playoff contender & possibly SB. They still have to prove they can win in December if they want to be playing late into January.

It's a good addition to the Dolphins, but I honestly think that Vikings got the raw end of the deal. A second round pick for a Pro Bowl QB? Argueably an MVP QB the year that Manning broke the TD record.

As for Brees going to the Saints, I think that messes up the draft big time. Alot of people seem to think they'll just draft Mario Williams at the spot, but I really don't think so. I think they can trade down with the Jets, and still be able to get Mario Williams at pick 4. We'll have to see what happens.

Once Culpepper is cleared to play though, watch out for Miami. I also think that with the addition of Brees, the Saints might suprise a few people. Wow, is this free agency crazy or what?

Not sure about that Miami move, but the Saints got a winner

51st pick. So the Vikings have 3 picks in the top 51.

Does winnning 6 in row to end last season mean nothing?

I am not exactly ecstatic about this but I'll have to trust Nick.

In retrospect, Daunte probably is a better fit for the offensive style that Saban wants to put in place.

As far as the knee injury goes, if Macgahee can recover from the same type of injury then so can Culpepper. If anyone would know its Mularkey.

I am real interested to see how this affects the draft.

Where is a good place for the entire draft order? I haven't been able to find it anywhere...

I think Culpepper is going to surprise everyone with just how strong he comes back. The guy is a freak of nature to begin with, and in the past he has healed fairly quickly from injuries. The guy is nearly a 70% completion passer and can make plays with his feet - he's a quality QB in a league that has very few quality QB's. I think you'll grow to like him.

Brees going to Saints is really gonna mess things up but they wont draft Mario Williams. They will most likely draft D'brick or Hawk. They already have Will Smith who will most likely be a pro bowler next year and Charles Grant.

Good move for Culpepper. All they need is a good corner like Williams or Tye Hill to be a playoff team.

I'd have to think the Saints are more than likely going to trade down with either the Jets or Raiders.

According to John Clayton if the Saints don't trade down they'll take Mario Williams. Neither Grant or Smith is in the same league as Williams and Grant certainly has only played up to a situatuional type of guy.

My opinion they'll trade down for AJ Hawk.

I like the move by the Dolphins. I think Culpepper will rebound nicely.

Will Smith is very very underated. He was picked by some experts to go to the pro bowl this year even though he was a backup. As a backup he had 60 sacks and 8.5 sacks.

The best move is to move back and draft Hawk becuase they want Smith to start and thts why they let Howard go.

So Will Smith is underrated. Wouldn't Will Smith do even better with Mario Williams next to him and Charles Grant in on situatuional downs??

Smith is solid but Grant is nothing special. My point simply is this. If you go defense and if Mario Williams is on the board your going to go Mario Williams. If Saints stay Williams is the pick.

I think they'll trade down. Pending where... If Jets then i still see the Saints getting Mario Williams. Anything below that is AJ Hawk.

i'm not sure how dolphins fans are estatic right now a 2nd rounder for DAUNTE CULPEPPER, jeez i'm scared imagine Culpepper returning to two years ago form and hooking up with Chambers it could be one of the best QB WR tandems in the league. Promising Ronnie Brown. Ricky Williams is coming back to f.... uhh forget it. This team has a legit shot at a deep playoff run if Pepper comes back strong
