Funny guy, jets! I think the jets are set @ QB; a noodle arm (Penny) & a head case (Ramsey). Of course, Tulane produces the best QB's; Ramsey & Loserman. LOL

Jack could always have Chloe hack into the Vikings warroom. LOL
No, I meant Tags. I could see Tags making a smart aleck comment to Jack when the Vikings pick actually made it on time and you don't talk back to Jack. I heard that Sean Astin was the draft card courier during the Mike Tice regime. The first time he failed to get the Viking's pick on time, he was seen fumbling in his pockets and muttering, "someone stole the precious." The second time, he got mugged in the parking lot and the Vikings first round draft pick nearly fell into the hands of terrorists.
I'm not sure of the size of Williams, but is there a chance that maybe he'd be converted to linebacker? That's happened quite often before with DEs coming out of the draft and vice versa.

I also think that with the addition of Brees, the Saints might suprise a few people. Wow, is this free agency crazy or what?</div> Not sure about that Miami move, but the Saints got a winner</div> culpepper has had what i think 6-8 yrs in the league more experience hence a good vet... brees is good like i said but.... he has to prove something more to the world i think... 2 good years doesnt define a career im not saying hes bad hes relally pretty damn good.... i knew he was gonna have this potential when he was playing bak at his almamator purdue....

The latest rumor has the Jets offering Abraham for Matt Schuab. If I were the Falcons I would hold on to Schuab, but if the deal is made then the draft becomes even more unclear. Saints, Jets & Dolphins would no longer be looking for a QB prospect. The Lions just added Kitna so I'd say it's unlikely they'd have room for another high paid QB on their roster. Cardinals might take a QB, but they have more pressing needs on D. Raiders seem to be the most obvious place for a need at QB, however they're rumored to be grooming a young QB already. Vikings would appear to be too far back in the draft, but with all these transactions in the last 24 hours could they see a guy like Cutler fall in their laps at 17? If so let's hope for their sake, they don't miss their turn at the podium again.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (porky88)</div><div class='quotemain'><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (panthersare#1)</div><div class='quotemain'>Will Smith is very very underated. He was picked by some experts to go to the pro bowl this year even though he was a backup. As a backup he had 60 sacks and 8.5 sacks. The best move is to move back and draft Hawk becuase they want Smith to start and thts why they let Howard go.</div> So Will Smith is underrated. Wouldn't Will Smith do even better with Mario Williams next to him and Charles Grant in on situatuional downs?? Smith is solid but Grant is nothing special. My point simply is this. If you go defense and if Mario Williams is on the board your going to go Mario Williams. If Saints stay Williams is the pick. I think they'll trade down. Pending where... If Jets then i still see the Saints getting Mario Williams. Anything below that is AJ Hawk.</div> Grant is something special. He had one off year and now he's nothing special? please give me a reason..........
Culpepper is gonna be a good fit for the fish I've heard that miami has a shot at owens they'de be scary with Chambers Mcmichael Brown pepper and owens the fish would be ready for the post season
Charles Grant....4 years, 64 games, 30 sacks.....less than half a sack of game....less than an average of 8 sacks a season....to give him the benefit of the doubt, hes a base end, not a rush end, so his sack numbers arent always a true indication of his performance....but even as the base end, hes smaller than Mario Williams and Williams is a quick twitch athelete.....no offense to Charles Grant, but hes an average end and Mario Williams is the best DE prospect since Peppers....you make room for that kind of athlete....but they really dont play the same position....even though Williams could play Grant's, Grant couldnt play Williams's....the best players in this draft play premium big man positions(Williams and Fergeson), and the Saints are primed to trade down, get some value, and get one of those guys, its a nice situation for them....if Im the saints, Im on the phone with the Jets right now, telling them that the cost to move from 4 to 2 is John Abraham and a 2nd....they will balk, but you stand pat....if they want the QB, they will come around....once that deal is done, then Abraham goes on the block for a 2nd and 3rd....before you know it, you moved from 2 to 4, you got the player you wanted anyway, and youve got 6 of the top 90 picks in this draft, which gives you tremendous flexibility....Jack Sparrow said it best, "Its a matter of leverage"....
