The main key should be obviously stopping Elton Brand. Brand's the big key to the Clippers' offense and Chuck Hayes will need to stay out of foul trouble. Keeping Kaman and Brand off the offensive boards will also be very important, as Brand has long been one of the league's best offensive rebounders. Yao should have another good game against LA as he normally does, but as we've seen in the past three games, the Rockets will have a hard time winning without McGrady even with Yao scoring 30+. Rafer Alston will need to take smarter shots and try to keep up with Livingston on defence. The Rockets get a break though with Sam Cassel likely out due to injury. In all, I just can't see the Rockets winning this without McGrady. Yao will likely have another big game but it'll come down to the stretch again, where the Rockets have almost no one to make the big shots in the clutch. Clippers: W, Rockets: L
I'll be turning from the texans debacle to watch this....we need to get Yao off early, limit turnovers, take smart shots, and hit our open 3's.
Rockets coughing up another fourth quarter lead. JVG needs to put Chuck back in the game. It's winning time.
the refs are horrible when it comes to Yao and they've been horrible today period. EDIT LMAO......did anyone just see what Yao this did....correct me if I'm wrong, but I could've sworn I read his lips say "You can't stop me"...and he had this look of arrogance on his face...haha, that's great. EDIT Rockets win.
finally a win lead by Yao,congratulations to all rockets. somehow i was still a bit nervous when clippers came behind 6pts in 4th quarter. anyway it's better to take a win to portland .Yao did a great job today being 30+,10 in 3 consective games, keep going then we al have a good finish bf coming back home

Stats seems good.</div> He's playing better each game. He doesn't have a dependable outside shot, and he falls asleep sometime on defense, but he has a very good post up game, a nice little fade away jumper, and he moves well without the ball. He has a quick hands too, and he'll get a fair number of steals.
I like it that Bonzi is actually trying. Man, I could just watch him and tell he's overweight because he was playing slow. But I'm not gonna complain about the way he played. He held his own.
Anyone see Yao smiling and then go "Just try to f*cking stop it (that/me? Something like that)." That was awesome. He's so clutch it's unbelievable. Good win by the Rockets, I loved how Dunleavy told Kayman not to keep fouling at the end.

I thought i was the only one who saw that lol. Happy to see Bonzi FINALLY gettin the respect he deserves, jus hope he doesn't disappear when Tmac comes back. Alston played good, but his turnovers in the last previous games were unacceptable. For our point guard to be bouncin the ball of his foot in the 4th quarter warrants possible trades. Howard has played as I expect him too and alot better than any one of you thought he'd be. He should be starting but i'll leave that one alone.

Everyone just predicted that Hayes would do better, and that has been right so far as well. Howard's pretty much doing what was expected of him, provide some good offense off the bench, make some plays when called upon and stretch the defense for Yao. Now, if you were to say you expected Hayes to do what he's doing on the other hand...
