Jose Calderon was injured with 32 seconds left in the 4th quarter today against the Warriors, I'm sure we will get some newspaper articles tomorrow and later in the week.

Its too bad to see Calderon get hurt, its tough to see anyone to get injured, hopefully its not very serious.

Yea, they were being very careful about taking him out. They took their time to make sure not to agitate his back.

It was good to see that he lifted his arm before leaving the arena. Pape Sow looked pretty affected by Calderon getting injured and Garbajosa was pretty sad on the bench about his good friend getting hurt.

On Spanish Radio they've said that Jose is now feeling when touching his legs. Garbo could not speak live on radio as he was too nervous.

A good sign about Jose, with no doubt. I hope it will be nothing, :S.

It just hit me: we're going to have to play Darrick Martin now. Crap.

    Nice sig, Chutney.

Yea we will have to play Derrick Martin some, but maybe we'll get Fred Jones to play some backup pg whenever he comes back. I don't know why Jones wasn't playing today.

lol, thanks. I was making a regular one and then all of a sudden Calderon gets messed up. So I just changed the text.

Fred Jones was out with a minor injury, I think. I was thinking the same thing, but inevitably Darrick Martin's going to have to play some minutes. I cringe every time I see him on the court.

i know i'm one of the ringleaders behind the rag on sam mitchell campaign, but i will say that he has incredible integrity as a man. he knew garbosa was disturbed by the jose incident so out of respect for their friendship, he sat him out intentionally and played joey g instead. clearly playing garbosa over joey g in a situation where hitting free throws was imperative was the correct basketball move but there are much bigger things than basketball. i don't think that move would have been made if george karl or isiah coached our team. so bravo to sam mitchell [IMG]

Not to mention that Garbo wanted to leave the bench to see Jose, though Mitchell told him, we'll go as a team instead of him going be himself.

did u notice fred limping back to the locker room? i think he was. anyways, it looks like we have caught the injury bug with three rotation players out of the lineup. 4 games in five nights might be disastrous for a team who might have to rely on certain guys like AP, FORD (big time), Rasho, and Mo pete for big minutes with the injuries.
