<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Kyle Korver heard the rumor about a week ago that he could be packaged as part of the eventual trade that sends Allen Iverson away from Philadelphia. But Korver said last night that he got reliable news from the only source that matters to him: president and general manager Billy King. "I don't have to worry about it," he said, referring to what King told him. The Iverson watch went into Day 9 yesterday with still no trade, but reports surfaced on Comcast SportsNet and ESPN.com that Korver might be added to a deal to help the Sixers pry promising point guard star Shaun Livingston away from the Los Angeles Clippers. It's been a tough time for everyone on the Sixers, who entered last night's game against the San Antonio Spurs carrying a 10-game losing streak, and the lingering Iverson trade uncertainty isn't helping.</div> Read More...
Thank GOD!!!! I can officially untie the knots in my stomach. I've been freaked out/worried all week because I think I'm gettting a Korver jersey for christmas.
They act like Korver is some special talent. He's a good threat from long range...... Thats about it.
I like Korver, but I would trade him in a heart beat if it was for someone like Randy Foye, or some other young talent. Like Air Fresh said, Korver is one-dimensional, and all he is basically useful for is shooting the three ball.
I really don't see Korver being a big factor in this team four years from now if the Denver trade goes down. With three first round picks in next years draft, potentially, at least one of them is guaranteed to be used on a shooting guard/point guard of the future. I wouldn't mind trading Korver if we got Livingston in return.
Korver would be great if he was involved in a trade with 3 teams, he would be great for miami since they have basically no 3 point shooter, unless u count Toine
