Man whoever said depth can only help you, sure as hell wasn't talking about the Chicago Bulls. This past week us Bulls fans have seen the ugly side of having depth, not having enough minutes during the course of a game to keep everyone happy. We have two guys right now, Brown and Khyrapa, who are good players, but are unhappy with their roles and would prefer to be traded. The question I pose is how do we handle this situation? Neither player is good enough to get us anything other than a second round pick as far as selection goes in return. The Bulls want to hold onto Brown for financial purposes, but at the same time don't want to keep a player here against his will. As far as Khyrapa goes we really can't demand much for him in a trade, but at the same time we can't just trade him for the hell of it. So what do we do?

Leave them. They aren't team cancers and will play if called upon.

Who knows when an injury will come up.

Khryapa got in a few games ago, so I think Skiles will put in him from time to time. He won't be traded though. Brown.. I have no idea, I don't know why he's not happy really? Is it because he isn't starting? The teams doing better when he doesn't. He still plays. And then he got injured. I don't think we'll trade him though because he is a big expiring.

I think Paxson should recall up Denver about getting Camby off their hands lol. Try and see if 2nd round picks, Viktor Khryapa, Michael Sweetney, or Marty and the fact that Carmelo Anthony is out for 15 games convince them that Iverson would help them win about 5 out of the 15 games while Carmelo is suspended or they will have a tough time getting their standings to where it should be this season.

Brown just isnt use to gettin like 10 minutes a game or less, he would be better on a team in need of a big that can rebound and play solid D.

i have a question tho, Paxson said if he could not get Ben Wallace he would have gone after Peja. If that happened we would have way to many SF's and a bad team. Did Paxson know there would not b enough room or would he have been planning to make a big trade?

    Kirk Hinrich/Chris Duhon
    Peja Stojakovic/Ben Gordon/Thabo Sefolosha
    Luol Deng/Andres Nocioni/Viktor Khryapa/Griffin
    Andres Nocioni/Tyrus Thomas
    Tyson Chandler/Malik Allen

We probably would never have signed Griffin, not to mention Peja is 6'10" so we could use him at power forward sometimes as well. However, Peja is out a majority of the season right now so I'm glad we didn't sign him.

I think we just hold on to both of them. They're each capable of producing when called upon, and it's not they're going to slack when they are called upon. Neither of them are worth too much either at this point, so trading them would just be stupid cause we won't even get equal talent back. Beyond that, I like PJs expiring contract that's gonna give us $10mil off the books come seasons end. We could waive them, but that doesn't do us any good either. At this stage, I'd say keep them. Neither of them is being a cancer to the team yet, and it's not like they're going to slack off when they the opportunity to play.
