and YES I know Nash was lucky. He one it the previous year and I wasn't expecting him to win it. But if he din't then LeBron would have because he came in second.</div>

What do you expect us to do? Respect Raja Bell after the man clotheslined Kobe to the floor in the playoffs? Kobe could have been seriously injured.

Mr. 81 can't get injured. Hes perfect and a man of steal.

C'mon now. Bryant got what he deserved and he needed a message sent to him. I would have done the samething if I was getting beat up like Bell was.

Why did he deserve to get a clothesline that could have very well injured him severly? Funny how you call us ignorant when you post some crap like this

Thats because everyone hates Bryant because he is pompous and a jerk. To win a MVP you need a good rep.

One thing Bryant fans don't get is hes not the next M.J.! There never will be another M.J.! They are complete different players! Kobe is Kobe and thats that. Bryant is in his own league and its no where near Jordans.

It was just to send a message not to injur him. Your right. If Kobe would get injured then he would be like T-Mac year after year.

Wtf are you talking about. When someone is driving to the hoop and you clothesline him to the floor it isn't "fighting with your brother for fun," it's a flagarent foul and Kobe could have had a serious neck injury. What the hell are you Sun fans doing here anyways. Last I checked, baiting and flaming isn't alowed. Kobe's comments were after a close loss in OT. Obviously the guy is going to feel frustrated, which explains his comments. I'm not saying what he said was right, but he caught up in the heat of the moment. Why the hell are we turning this thread into another Kobe vs the World

Thing is, he could have. Get that in your mind. I attempted murder. I guess that doesn't matter because I didn't kill anyone. Anyways, what if Kobe clothlined Raja Bell. I bet you wouldn't go around praising him. Again, funny how you call us Laker fans ignorant when you and your Suns groupie come into our forum and starting baiting. Very funny and amusing

I'm sorry, but if you're going to defend Kobe's comments on the basis that "he was frustrated after a tough loss" then you can't complain about any player's comments after a game. Be consistent. That was so obviously a jab at Gilbert and it stunk of jealousy. This doesn't mean he's a horrible person, but you have to accept the fact that he was being a hypocrite.

what? yeah it was a flagrant foul, however, Raja Bell is a character player - always has been - and any fool could see that even though it was a "flagrant" foul, it was quite a safe wrestling move.
besides I am a Kobe fan! I don't think what Raja did was good but to say Kobe could have been hurt is b.s. imo. this thread is in the lakers forum but since it has a quote from Kobe that shines a negative light on him, people are going to criticize him for that, including ME, a Kobe fan and 6-year L.A. resident. at any rate, limiting posts in a particular forum to ONLY positive posts with respect to that team is stupid.
