Either way wouldnt they want to give as little as possible? That way after the suspensions the Nuggets would be ready.

Why only 15 games you ask? Stern came across an interesting dilemna. The question was, did he want to get back at Carmelo for denting the leagues image even more, or did he want to hurt Jeff Van Gundy['s team the Rockets] more. He chose 15 games so that Melo could be back just in time to stick it to the Rockets. [IMG]

The deal was probably the same except they probably tossed in another first rounder and Philly bit.

I think it's a case of overkill, on both sides. George Karl may say that he just didn't want to give up leads in the 4th. But I think being up 19 with 1:19 to go is a big enough lead. Isiah was a great player, but his actions is slowly overshadowing his legacy. He is making a mockery of the game. What happened does not help the league. But aside from all that, what caught my attention, was Nate Robinson. Who the hell does he think he is?! This guy has been acting like he's a star or something. Just because he won the slamdunk contest (which I dont agree with) he thinks he's all that. Excuse me Mr. Nate Robinson, but you ain't jack! Your a thug! You don't belong in the NBA. He's lucky to have Isiah as his coach or he would have not made it out of training camp. Here's a summary of his career; slamdunk champ, fouled up an attempt to showboat and was involved in a brawl against Denver.
