On RealGM, they said Hedo would likely have to be involved. I love Maggette, he was my favorite player on the Heart and Hustle year as a rookie and I hated getting rid of him, but he doesn't spread the floor like Hedo does. I would be against a Maggette for Hedo straight up trade. He is also injury prone. If we deal Hill instead and get a filler(Like maybe Rebraca), then I'd probably be cool with it.

You wouldn't mind trading Hedo, but you're willing to trade basically the heart of our team right now? Doesn't make much sense to me...

(And I wouldn't trade Hedo either [IMG])

I wouldnt mind having Corey but Ariza is gonna become a very nice player for us. Just think about it, our starting lineup could have 3 years of experience together and still only avg 24 years old... that is amazing... Im up for getting rid of garrity...

Hedo is underrated, he's having a slow start but he will pick it up. If he can get back to the level he was playing at last year he will be a scoring machine. I definately wouldn't trade Grant he is our "glue"

Agreed. I would want to see if we can sucker out Garrity and maybe some filler for Corey, that would be sick.

    Successful Scenario
Due to Orlando and L.A. Clippers being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Orlando and L.A. Clippers had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.</div>
    Well?

Obviously i'm a huge Magic fan... but since i'm here in LA i'm also a big clipper fan... I also have a buddy that has been a Clipper fan since FOREVER... he knows his ****... that being said, everyone in LA loves maggette, but wouldn't mind him leaving. I myself have a maggette jersey and i've always been a fan of his... but he isn't a player that we should give too much up for. He makes a lot of bone head plays and he (as mentioned above) is very injury prone.... hasn't really put together one full season yet. There is something fishy about a player that has been in talks about trades for over a year already.

    wait for VINCE.

i disagree... maggette has a great jumper, but prefers to drive the lane (which is what he should be doing)... i dont know how many clipper games you've seen, but when maggette first came back from his injury he was hesistant to drive as hard as he normally does... he started taking jumpers all day long and he makes a great percentage of them... he's a great all around player and he CAN spread the floor as well as Hedo. Hedo is probably the better jump shooter, but maggette can essentially come in and do the same thing shooting the ball, maggette also rebounds better and gets to the free throw line more consistently.

I know his jump shooting has improved and he's not like a Trevor Ariza shooting the ball, but doesn't he try to penetrate before looking for his jump shot? We need someone that can and do willingly set up behind the 3 point line and jack up and make a good percentage of 3's. Hedo is that guy. I think Maggette is probably a better all around player and is way more athletic then Hedo, but I just think Hedo fits into our system more of trying to spread the floor. He is basically our only consistent jump shooter that we have right now. JJ and Diener won't get enough minutes when everyone comes back to count in this.

Sounds good to me. Garrity for him would work. We need a player who actually steps onto the floor. Anyways, I would trade Hedo for Corey in a heartbeat. I hated when we let him leave before. If we get him, Dwight would only improve more. The thing is that Hedo is a streaky inconsistent player. Don't get me wrong, sometimes Corey can be bad but still having him would be great.

    We could do this:

Arroyo and Garrity for Corey Maggette. That works out.

Also, Garrity and Turkoglu for Maggette and Rebraca also works.

Either one would be fine with me. Garrity's involved in both.

Why would they do the Arroyo and Garrity one? They already have Livingston and Cassell, no need for another PG.

I know they wouldn't do it. I wanna do it though. LOL Well, Cassell is getting older and needs to return to his home planet soon.

Maggette would make the Magic contenders. Hedo hasn't played as well as expected so throw in a few more players along with Hedo and the Magic will be even better.
