<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">They called Seattle about Rashard Lewis (not Ray, who is actually available now), and were told they have nothing that the Sonics want. They called Memphis about Pau Gasol and Jerry West told them what he?s told everyone ? that his hands are tied until the ownership deal is worked out, and until then, it?s hands off Pau. As Doug mentioned, they asked Houston about Juwan, and concluded it was diminished returns. And they called Chicago about P.J. Brown, but the Bulls weren?t interested in Jason Collins </div>

It'd be kind of redundant wouldn't it?

They might want him for RJ and a few draft picks. He is a good shooter and good rebounder for a guy his height.

I guess you can say that. We are desperate for a good big man who can defend, rebound, and score when needed. Our team right now isn't really all that bad. Vince just needs to step up and start shooting more than 7-10 shots a game. RJ needs to get back to his old form. If Vince isn't shooting it is his opportunity to step up. Krstic has been there this year, when it comes to scoring. He has poor rebounding for a 7 footer. Jason Collins just gets worse every year and we won't even need him this year to defend Shaq because with they way Shaq is right now, we would be able to put Jason Kidd on him and he wouldn't score (ok maybe he would). Speaking of Jason Kidd, the guy is the only starter on the team besides Krstic who has given it their all and their efforts haven't paid off. I think that after this year if NJ doesn't win a championship or if they don't go far, it will be time for JKidd to pull an Allen Iverson and get traded to a contending team, because he deserves to win a ring. Kidd has been getting triple doubles like hell and could possibly average one. The bench is improved and can help the team alot. I think Lawrence Frank should be fired and replaced by Rick Adelmen.

Well those are my current thoughts on us.

I wouldn't mind Rashard, but if pressed I might want RJ more cause he plays great defense and is more efficient in terms of scoring when he's 100%. A few dribbles and he's either in a posistion to score or set someone else up. Rashard has a smooth game and a good jumper but his defense seems a bit awkward, he can be a good defender with his quick hands and overall athleticism, but doesn't seem like he tries particularly hard. If we could get Collison or Wilcox in the deal as well, then ok, I'll do it. The article indicates that they're not interested in anything we have, so I guess it's moot. Though if we swung a RJ for Ray Allen deal, I think we'd become very dangerous. Kidd, Ray, Vince is a deadly combo that I think would work out very well, as long as we abandon the defensive team strategy.

Particularly a part of me is praying that after the Wolves lost out in the AI sweepstakes, that KG is privately angry and upset with management and they ask him to trade him. It's a hail mary kind of prayer, but I'm clinging onto it.
