SEATTLE (Ticker) -- Glen "Big Baby" Davis has been a terror this season, and the Washington Huskies have to figure out how to stop him when they host Louisiana State on Wednesday.

The 6-9, 289-pound Davis has four double-doubles in a row, and is averaging 20.1 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. The junior forward continued his fine play as the 15th-ranked Tigers posted a 60-53 victory at Oregon state on Sunday.

The 17th-ranked Huskies, who have also won four of their last five, come off an easy 105-73 win over Portland State on Saturday. It was Washington's first game since they were embarrassed in a 97-77 loss at Gonzaga on December 9.

Justin Dentmon led the Huskies with 18 points while Quincy Pondexter and Spencer Hawes each added 16. Washington shot 60 percent from the field while holding Portland State to 36 percent shooting.</div>

Washington needs to get back on track with a quality win here. The Huskies have the size and depth in the frontcourt to neutralize Big Baby, but the guards have to step up for Washinton in this game.

Spencer Hawes dominated Glen Davis. That is all.

Spencer Hawes and Brockman dominated this game on the inside. LSU was terrible at stopping dribble penetration last night. Dentmon was breaking done the defense all night long.

This game was horrible for LSU, one of the ugliest I've ever seen from a team that is a title contender. Anyone else think the time differential could of made them sluggish?

Time differential? Really stretching for excuses there... they're just not that good, and Brady's a horrible coach to say the least (and a fat slob, but that's another story). Glen Davis is not the same player he was last season now that he's lost all that weight. And even though he's lost all that weight, he still seems blubbery and out of shape; I don't get that. Magnum Rolle also needs to take his game to the next level. He's a lot more raw than I realized, because last year Tyrus Thomas dominated so much of the frontcourt minutes and I only got to see Rolle in sporadic bench minutes. He's not aggressive enough on defense and is just mechanically raw on offense.

^ Good call on Rolle; I think he's been their most disappointing and debilatating player so far. Thomas provided so much support for Davis on the glass and with his shot-blocking. Now Davis has to anchor both the offense and the defense from the paint, and he's getting triple teamed while Rolle turns it over seemingly every time they try to isolate him on the blocks.

I've got to bring this up again, too: while I've only seen LSU for three games this year, it seems that Tack Minor still has no f'ing clue what it means to play 'point' guard. It seems like every other time he's got the ball, he turns it over. And this after all I heard this summer was how much he'd improved his handle and decision-making. Maybe I just notice that flaw more than others because of how big a pain in the ass turnovers are IMO, but it's pretty obvious to me that this team really lost a huge part of their success when Darrell Mitchell and Thomas left.

This is the first time i've really watched LSU this season and I came away very disappointed. Big Baby looks like a totally different player; he now tries to face the basket and play on the perimeter instead of posting up and doing what he does best. I know Brockman and Hawes did an excellent job shutting him down, but I don't recall seeing Davis even trying to post-up.

I think some thought that Tack Minor could just step in and replace Darrell Mitchell and they just wouldn't miss a beat. I don't see it, nor do I expect that to happen. Same for replacing Tyrus Thomas with Lazarre/Rolle. This LSU team is a very talented team, but I don't see them doing much with Brady at the helm. The guy is one of the worst in-game coaches in the game.

Well the game started at around 7:45 here, that's like 9:45 their time right? I don't know, maybe the cold weather threw them off but I thought LSU would be a lot better. Temple got 3 fouls in less than 10 minutes, it was ugly from the beginning, that's all I know. Washington is good but they're not really that deep IMO, their talent isn't top notch pass the starters.
