Man you know what? JVG set up a bad play that should've went to Yao, and also Rockets got their stuff packed too many times this game! Especially Rafer with his crazy AND 1 lay-ups.

this is one of those close matches we need to pay, if i didn't remember wrong, rocs dig a quite big hole since first half then nearly erased the defict with 1 min left, bt at last we fail to tie the game for some uncontrollable reasons. Sometimes head could throw in that big shot bt other times couldn't, he is still developing though, bt should his shot look more threatening around the 3 pts line? i just notice he doesn't feel comfortable when hitting inside the perimeter[IMG]

<div class="quote_poster">Umair Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Damn it we lost. I blame Luther! We were down by 3 points with like 2 minutes and he jacked up a three. Then with 30 seconds he tried to be the hero and took a mid range jumper and missed. I think we should have went to Yao Ming with 30 seconds remaining to tie the game instead of letting Head take a mid range. Also, Rafer played outstanding at the end. He dribbled too much at the end but I think it was because he couldn't get that shot above Dixon. But he made it with 1.7 seconds. Rockets were then down by a point with 0.8 seconds. Randolph made one and missed the second one, Game Over! Rockets lost. Rockets lost the lead early on and played catch-up the rest of the way. Good win by Portland. I think we could've definitely won this game. If we get easy games like this, we must take advantage of them by getting easy wins, there is no question why we would lose to teams like Trailblazers. If Rockets want to be considered as a title contender or a playoff contender then they shouldn't be losing easy games even without Tmac.</div>

sacarstically, if there is an easy scapegoat for this game,i would blame yao for his slowness in the 1st quarter and few TOs including that block ,seems not so focused on the game though he somehow proved his dominance since the 3rd quarter. IMO everyone knows he would certainly be our first option in offense, bt the point is our team couldn't count on a single person to be saviour, some guys like head and alston would be our daggers to enemy's heart and most important we are not doing well in small aspects. guess yao, juwan, even head and alston hit couple of big shots ,bt that's just not enough to grab a win. The reason is we re still not playing smarter on road games.u all c what happened when our players keep rushing inside tonight, almost all their try being blocked by blazers. why not trying hit 3s earlier when inside too crowded. Plus, if there is a 25+,10+ PowerForward, an ex-all-star and a fast penetrater inside,it would be better to take 2-3 zone deffense, it's just sad to watch all our 4 positons got mismatched esp randorff. Therefore,Chuck picked up fouls too early and without him we couldn't protect our rim effectively. Without T mac during this period, the rocs
should think about a winning forumla not only by finding the 2nd/3rd scorer and def pace bt other stuff like roster. I believe we are running out of power because of DNPs, fans don't wanna come2 see those (Vspans,Novacs.lucasIII )wasting their time on bench or just picking up fouls, coach better consider a way letting them contributing, i believe he can sort out in the future.

    ^blame Yao [IMG]

The Blazers were hot. Blame Battier. What did he have 3 points? We need him to step up and score when T-Mac is out. If he is really a proven winner the least he could do is score, or not miss so many shots.
