Second straight buzzer-beating win for us. David Lee with the tip-in with only 0.1 left! Finished with 10/19. IMO, Lee is pretty much untouchable.
everyone is expendable on a losing team, particularly lee who doesn't have much upside. plus, he's too small to play the four and too slow footed to guard the three.
Mr.J, what did I tell you when you asked me about him? All energy and he genuinely love to play basketball. He is a very good passing big man and pretty much does whatever he's told to do. He doesn't care about putting up monster numbers, he is about as much of a team player as you could possibly want. I told you he wouldn't be a star or anything, but he would be a very valuable role player and that Knicks fans will like him. I'm just really happy to see him get his shot and succeed in it. I just wish you would deal him to the Magic, I wanted him over Ariza in the Francis deal that was rumored. (I'm pretty sure you were the one that asked) btw, I think avg a double double is pretty damn good. He is the type of role player that every team in the league would love to have. The Knicks would be much better with 12 David Lee's then continuing to stockpile the Marbury's and Francis's, etc.

David Lee is awesome, even though he is kind of a tweener a la Drew Gooden. Great basketball sense, can score with either hands, and he is very athletic and aggressive. My kind of high energy role player. I didn't think he'd be this good after being kind of forgotten in college. He had some hype when he won that McDonald's All American (or something) high school dunk contest. The winning dunk was a toss the ball off the floor, take his shirt off, do a cartwheel and dunk the ball on the catch. Or I could be wrong contest. But I remember he did something like that and probably won for most original dunk.

That game-winner was sick. The Knicks get many buzzer beaters and clutch shots. Crawford has made them pretty much. That doesn't make them a good team anyway. ;D

Isiah may not be the best GM, but he knows better than to trade Lee - 11/10 in 29 minutes, shooting 64%. Once he gets his jumper straight, I think he can be a problem in the league.

I used to think that you cant get a shot of with less than 0.4 seconds, but the only way you can is by a tip in or a lob. And Lee did a tip in. That was a pretty nice play. Looks like Knicks actually got something positive out of that brawl.

Isiah finally got a freaking clue and started playing him more, and now the team is winning games. Skills coach David Thorpe (ESPN.com) says the guy was heavily recruited coming out of high school and he has more upside than Channing Frye. He has great hands, he's very athletic (slow footed?), and he's very efficient. David Lee is exactly the kind of player the Knicks need to keep.
