<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Now that Allen Iverson is joining the Denver Nuggets, the Timberwolves' odds of winning the Northwest Division might be a little longer. Whether Iverson blends well with the divisional rival Nuggets remains to be seen. But there's no questioning his talent, and that characteristic alone often is the first step toward contending. The Wolves believe Denver improved its roster by acquiring Iverson from the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday. "If you have a player like that, it does make you a better team," Wolves coach Dwane Casey said Wednesday. Iverson averages more than 31 points a game, just behind new Nuggets teammate Carmelo Anthony. The Nuggets are one of the highest-scoring teams in the NBA, and Iverson will fit in well, Wolves guard Trenton Hassell said. "Shoot, they've got the No. 1 and No. 2 scorers in the league on the same team," Hassell said. "They're going to have firepower. We can see in about 14 games." Anthony must serve 14 more games of a 15-game suspension he received Monday for his role in a fight with the New York Knicks last weekend. Denver's game Wednesday night against Phoenix, the first since the trade, was postponed because of a snowstorm. The Nuggets hope Iverson will play Friday night against Sacramento. Iverson's talent is one thing, but his issues are another. He is known for clashes with coaches and his disdain for practice. "Definitely, they got an unbelievable player," Wolf Marko Jaric said. "Now, it's all about chemistry. If they find chemistry, definitely they can be a championship team. If they don't find chemistry, it could be a disaster." Jaric said the Nuggets will have to adjust to Iverson as much as Iverson will have to adjust to them. "He's definitely not one of the guys who's going to pass five times in a row," Jaric said. "He's a guy who wants to hold the ball. He's a guy who wants to create his own situation." Forward Kevin Garnett said he's happy Iverson has found a new home, though he acknowledged he's "a little bit" disappointed the Wolves didn't acquire the NBA's 2001 most valuable player. "It is what it is," he said.</div> Source
Good like make well over 200 million dollars for playing basketball by the time his career is over. Feel sorry for KG having not won a title, but dont pity him too much.
he makes alot of money but as far as basketball players he's one of the best ever with almost nothing to show for it. He does deserve to win something after all the work he's put in.

I am not indifferent, I want KG to win a championship real bad even if he has to leave minny to do so. All I was saying was that KG is one of if not the highest paid basketball player ever, he is playing in a place that he loves in Sota (though he has been disappointed in the results in recent years), and any time he wants to leave for a contender all he has to do is ask. I am one of those people who believes that if KG never wins a title it will be a trajedy for the game and for his legacy, but this is a story that takes place in every sport and in every generation. But I still hold out hope that he can bring the chip home to the Target Center.
