    Star-Ledger -
The New Jersey Nets have made inquiries for Pau Gasol, Rashard Lewis and P.J. Brown recently.

The Nets have been in contact with the Bulls on Brown, who wants to be traded out of Chicago. The conversation was reportedly brief, when New Jersey offered Jason Collins and Jeff McInnis.

Gasol is untouchable until the Memphis ownership situation is settled.

Lewis would be a gamble for any team that might acquire him because he can opt out of his contract following the 2006-2007 season. [READ]</div>

I'd probably never do that, I have no idea what's up with McInnis now.. Is he still injured? He's an expiring, but I don't like Collins contract at all.

    From HoopsHype:
    Jason Collins -
    $5,800,000 06/07
    $6,100,000
    $6,200,000

    McInnis -
    $3,600,000 06/07

I doubt the Bulls management even found this as possible for them to accept so I wouldn't worry at all. However, I don't see how the Nets are trying to build with a player in that position right now when they already have fresh talent. Time tells the greatest tails.
