I had heard that Minny won't let any team trading for him give him a medical exam. Is this true? I can't imagine Daunte leaving the Twin Cities for South Beach or anywhere else with that kind of attitude.
That's what I heard. The only thing that they are allowing is for teams to talk to his current doctor. I think the worry here is that a team doctor could easily give a diagnosis that would help in trade negotiations. Also, since Pepp is using a specialist, they probably feel better about a specialist's opinion than that of a team doctor. I agree, though, it will not help their cause. I think Pepp will be wearing purple next year.
