See that the Lakers and Heat are playing again Christmas Day which made me wonder... Have the Warriors ever played Christmas Day?

Feel free to post your season's greetings here.

Ahh crap was I wrong about Foyle? I thought Foyle would have a good game against Orlando since he was able to make a difference in the Boston or Kings or whatever game. He's good in limited minutes as a defensive presence, as long as we can avoid him dropping the ball constantly or missing the easy wide open points nba players should make.

There's nothing wrong with Foyle getting dunked on. At least from what I've seen of him he doesn't give up the foul and the basket. He simply tried to make a clean stop but was too late. I think last season or two seasons ago, Amare Stoudamire had two highlight reels against this guy and was just owning him. But Foyle made a good defensive stop against Stoudamire down the stretch and the Warriors ended up winning. Foyle took away the easy dunks once Amare thought he could toy with him forever. Now if it was Murphy trying to match up with other F/C's, he'd stand and wait for help that might result in an important teammate getting in foul trouble. I've seen Jrich and Bdiddy pick up quite a few because Foyle had to come out and Murphy wouldn't move to cover.

The best use of Foyle is to not have to throw him the ball. If we have an inside scorer next to him, good ballhandlers, outside shooters, we can make him a Dale Davis of sorts. But it doesn't work if one or two of the other four players left aren't contributing strongly. One of the biggest letdowns was having Murphy, Foyle, Dunleavy playing at the same time. Foyle, Murphy couldn't score inside and Dunleavy couldn't shoot or make good use of his passing skills because guys would drop it or it would just lead to an outside shot.

No, you were right. Foyle had a great game against Orlando. He made some big plays in the fourth.

Those pictures that AF posted are bias as hell. Besides both pictures are of the same play.

For some twisted reason, I enjoy looking at those pictures. In fact, I'm saving those [IMG].

Ahhh, good to know I sort of know my Warriors! Go Warriors!

I still agree with everyone here that we should try to find some way to unload one or two of our most expensive bench contributors so we can re-sign our own rookies without luxury tax penalty. I don't mind overpaying for one guy like Shane Battier or the young Nick Van Exel to be bench or starter, but two bench guys of Dunleavy or Foyle, it's hard to justify... especially Foyle. I'd take Dunleavy way over him. And during the moments where we don't really need more outside shooting and defensive rebounding (where it is Biedrins and Ike's domain), I wouldn't mind seeing more Dunleavy over Murphy. That sounds crazy, but I just can't really see the value of a double double if we lose so many points inside the painted area and other warriors get a personal foul trying to protect the basket. I really hope the Warriors can get something good for Murphy because he is valuable consistency and stats wise. But Dun/Foyle... it's hard to imagine them getting something good for them.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGH I have to work 7 hours on Christmas [IMG] [IMG] This makes the job 10 times as depressing and there won't be anyone there so there will be nothing to do, I hope my boss lets me off early but I'm sure he won't. Happy holidays! [IMG]

Right now I'm about to do all my Christmas shopping (7:30 AM on Christmas Eve [IMG] ). Then I'm going to the Niner game, which will be awkward since I'm a Raiders fan but I can't turn down tickets to any NFL games since I've only been to 2 in my life. Then I have to work tonight. [IMG]

    Ah sorry, bro [IMG]

I had to do that a few times back in the day while the manager got to take the night off. So I basically just goofed off hardcore. That was their Christmas present to me. Ha! I played nothing but gameboy, farted around on my laptop, and called up my girlfriend.

From the picture, it looks as if Foyle got a slam dunk and got his butt grabbed at the same time. [IMG]
