The most underrated guitar player with the most underrated rapper... great combo... really compliment eachother's styles well... what's this off of?

It just doesn't register with me. I get nothing out of it. I appreciate her voice and all but it's way too bland. It only picks up in the end. Sorry dude.

That video is funny. The music is pretty good, surprisingly for such a repetitive song (which was the point obviously) I liked it. The lyrics were annoying at first, but as it changed up I started to enjoy it. The vocals aren't that great, but I'm not going to knock on that because the song and even the genre in particular doesn't call for great vocal work. For this it is all about what can get you going and this does it.

Nice to see the Riddler make an appearance as well. j/k lol

New song is from Neutral Milk Hotel - (Untitled)

One of my favorite tracks from NMH (all of my favorites being on the same album). Gone now, but definitely not forgotten by the fans. This isn't an official video obviously, but I think it goes along well enough and I love those Red Bull Flugtags.

The bagpipe kind of annoyed me to be honest with you. I thought the rest of it would've deserved a B but the bagpipe sound drowned out most of the music to me. Maybe I just don't have the right ears for it.

I think I actually might have posted this video before myself (not 100% though). It's an amazing song that just moves me in an intangible, indescribable. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get into that much other TV on the Radio stuff. I checked out their new album and only two or three tracks stood out to me, and of their past stuff, this is about all I like outside of "Dreams" and a few others.

    New Song:

    The Beatles - Because

(I've got to go with this because YouTube is making it increasingly hard to find the old classic rock songs I want to recommend. I love this song though... it's what my latest usertitle's quoting.)

That's a great song from the Beatles. It runs pretty straight through and calms you down. An inspirational song and a nice picture video tribute to boot. Not sure what else I can write about it, can't knock anything.

Next song is from Venus - Beautiful Days

One of the best songs, ever. A great video too with clips taken from the film this song was used for. Enki Bilal's masterpiece comic series turned into a reality, Immortel. I love the man's work, he's a genius. After the video, take a look at some of his work. Just type his name in a search.

I don't recommend the film to people who don't follow the series because it is too damn confusing otherwise. I think Sasha would appreciate it though.

Enki Bilal is a genius! Yeah, I know of him. Dude was born in Yugoslavia (where I'm from). I've only seen The Hetzfeld tetralogy because of its relation to the Balkans. I haven't seen Immortel yet, but judging by Linda Hardy's beauty alone, I just might have to.

As for the song, it's awesome as well. Of what I've heard from Venus, this is some of my favorite stuff. It has a great climax and resonates very well. Definitely an A.

Beautiful voice but a bland song musically, nothing really particularly great about it. It seemed like most other coffee shop song out there today...

    New Song:

    Bicycle Thief - Cereal Song

(Just a coincidence the fan-made video's about Hillel Slovak... it was the only good video I could find of "Cereal Song" on YouTube... don't think one has to do with the other except for the subject matter of the song.)

Good song, amazing outro. Started slow, finished brilliant.

    Bombtrack - A

Haha, I was actually just playing this on guitar. It's pretty easy but it sounds really catchy, like a lot of Morello's work. Solid song though, one of my favorite RATM songs.

Damn... I'm just glad the video cut off before he could say why he was on the ground... I like being in my chair just fine. [IMG]

Radiohead's the greatest active band out of Brittain, I'm convinced of that. They're so brilliantly unconventional - good taste.

    On that note...

I really want to kill myself now. Radiohead is great at times, but at times they're so crappy and boring. This was one of those times. I can't stand Thom's voice. I need some caffeine now.

Wasn't feeling the vocals, but the music was good. I loved the guitar and the outro was on point.

    Firstly, Primus > * ... Claypool > * ...

    Secondly, I give this song a B.

Decent song, but I usually expect better lyrical content for de la Rocha. The guy doesn't exactly have the greatest rock voice. It's more tolerable when he has a message, which this song seemed to be lacking of.

That was different. I didn't really like the voice. Not sure what they were aiming for, but it was too whiny for my liking. Reminded me of Wierd Al Yankovic. The music was pretty cool though, especially the guitar. They did something wierd with how they played it, but I liked the sound.

Yeah, Primus is definitely "different," to say the least.

Les Claypool's got a really distinguishably quavery voice, but he's the best bass player alive today, so it's excusable, lol.

I'm pretty sure the guitar you were hearing was bass, btw.

I'll leave Maiden up to one of the metal heads on the site. I'm not really into their stuff and probably wouldn't know how to rate them.

Never really listened to Iron Maiden before, but I can see why they have inspired so many bands. There's something missing in this song (probably for my personal taste) that keeps it from getting an 'A' from me, but I think the song itself was listenable and quite enjoyable. Don't know if I'd want to listen to it more than a couple more times though.

Since their new album just came out, why not?

The only thing it had working for it was the music, I found the vocals dreadful.
