    1. Houston ? Reggie Bush/RB/USC
This pick only seems more certain now with the QBs acquired by NO & MIA.

    2. New Orleans ? D?Brickashaw Ferguson/OT/Virginia
If they can't get the Jets or Raiders to bite, then I think they go with the only sure thing in this draft aside from Bush. There also might be a reluctance to trade down as the Titans may be having doubts about Young.

    3. Tennessee ? Matt Leinart/QB/USC
My feeling is the Titans may have soured on Young & would take Ferguson if someone trades up to take Leinart. Of course Norm Chow is very famliar with Matt so it would seem like the perfect match.

    4. N.Y. Jets ? Mario Williams/DE/NC St
I think the Jets make a strong play for the #2 spot, UNLESS they can make a deal for Matt Schuab. With Ferguson almost certain to be off the board IMO, the Jets take the best defensive player.

    5. Green Bay ? A.J. Hawk/LB/Ohio St
A lot of debate over this pick. Will it be Mario or Hawk? Well the Jets make the decision for them.

    6. San Francisco - Vernon Davis/TE/Maryland
This is where I could very well see a trade with the Vikings happen. The 49ers miss out on the top 2 defensive prospects but settling for this massive target isn't such a bad thing.

    7. Oakland - Vince Young/QB/Texas
As a result of all QB transactions over the past 24 hours it's very likely that we could see Young & Cutler slip to the bottom of the top 10.

    8. Buffalo ? Haloti Ngata/DT/Oregon
This is the 1 pick hasn't changed amidst all the changes around the league.

    9. Detroit ? Michael Huff/S/Texas
With the signing of Kitna I can't see the Lions taking on another QB.

    10. Arizona ? Jay Cutler/QB/Vandy
Cardinals got their RB via FA & with the top defensive prospects gone Jay is the logical choice here. With Warner as the starter, Cutler will have time to develop similar to how Eli did in NY.

    11. St. Louis ? Brodrick Bunkley/DT/Florida St
    12. Cleveland ? Winston Justice/OT/USC
    13. Baltimore ? Jimmy Williams/CB/VA Tech
    14. Philadelphia ? Chad Jackson/WR/Florida
    15. Atlanta ? Tamba Hali/DE/Penn St
    16. Miami ? Chad Greenway/LB/Iowa
    17. Minnesota ?DeAngelo Williams/RB/Memphis
    18. Dallas ? Marcus McNeil/OT/Auburn
    19. San Diego ? Santonio Holmes/WR/Ohio St
    20. Kansas City ? Tye Hill/CB/Clemson
    21. New England ? LenDale White/RB/USC
    22. Denver (from Wash) ? Mathias Kiwanuka/DE/BC
    23. Tampa Bay ? Eric Winston/OT/Miami
    24. Cincinnati ? Gabe Watson/DT/Michigan
    25. N.Y. Giants ?Ernie Sims/LB/Florida St
    26. Chicago ? Leonard Pope/TE/Georgia
    27. Carolina ? DeMeco Ryans/LB/Alabama
    28. Jacksonville ? Laurence Maroney/RB/Minnesota
    29. Denver ? Darnell Bing/S/USC
    30. Indianapolis ? Thomas Howard/LB/UTEP
    31. Seattle - Max Jean-Gilles/OG/Georgia
    32. Pittsburgh ? Sinorice Moss/WR/Miami

The latter half of the draft is so hard to determine with so many players of equal value at the same position(LB/DE); Kamerion Wimbley, Manny Lawson, Orien Harris & Bobby Carpenter all got consideration.

I don't think Minnesota drafts Williams at all. They seem very sold on Chestor Taylor and are more likely to look for help either at LB or look for a young QB that they can groom...

Well as I said I think there's a strong possibility the 49ers make for a potential trading partner. It could very well cost the Vikings both 2nd round picks along with their 1st to get there though.

I really like this mock draft. I agree with Viking fan that with Taylor signing with Williams will drop lower.

I like the panthers drafting Demeco Ryans. I think Cutler has too big a arm to pass on him with the cardinals, Kurt Warner is out and with Edge staying for 4 years and those great recieving core, Cutler is the missing piece that can come in and start in a year. With Huff/Davis/ and D'brick off the board i think Cutler is the best pick because the OT like justice arent worth a top 10 pick.

I agree with panthersare#1, this is a really good mock draft. I like the little sub-paragraph beneath each pick, good work.

    Good mock..

I think the Vikings will draft Ernie Sims if they stay. He's a perfect fir for their new scheme. That's of course if Chad Greenway isn't on the board.

Don't agree with all th picks but there is nothing out of this world happening..

yeah I considered Sims as high as 12 to the Browns. I actually think he's surpassed Greenway on most boards.

Yeah he played CB last year for VT. He can project to FS as well. He had experience there in his earlier college career.
