    Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody - B

That song is weird as hell but it's cool nonetheless. Queen is really a unique group.

Ok, if you guys (VC) don't like this song then you suck.

Finally you got it right, lol. Elton John is the greatest. I saw him live recently, and he really hasn't lost it yet, even at 60 years of age. I really admire the way he came out of the closet in a time when that was a lot more uncommon than it is today. He was really a pioneer for gay rights. I hate that his sexual orientation turns some people off to his music, because it's really the most well-written stuff to come out of that era, an era in which most groups from the 60's were disseminating.

B- I love the drumming but the rythem he sings it in just throws it off IMO. I guess it's not my genre like you always say. I like the RHCP, don't get me wrong, but I didn't really like this song.

I liked this song when I first heard it, but the novelty of it has worn off. It's still a decent song musically, but the lead singer's voice is horrible. He whines more than he sings. It's unfortunate, because his lyrics are actually decent, and he's got a well-written song to work with. "Honest Mistake" and "Swollen Summer" are the only songs I really like from the Bravery because of his vocal cadences though.

Edie Brickell & New Bohemians - What I Am

They've got a lot of good songs outside of this one hit, but it's really the only song I could find on YouTube that I liked.

I used to always listen to this on the radio when I was younger, but for some reason even though I'd always crank it I never really cared much for it. The reason I gave it a B instead of a C is because I've always liked the bass lines going on in the song and the simple guitar work. This is the only song I know from this group though, you mention that they have other good songs?

New song is from !!! (Chk Chk Chk) - Heart of Hearts

Use their website's radio function at the bottom right to click over to the correct song.

Decided to finally post something from these guys. Definitely a band for you, VC. Sasha, you might know these guys I think.

    Heart of Hearts - A

Wow, this was surprisingly good. It reminded me of something from Kasabian meets something from Death from Above. Really great, energetic live performance too. When you have a frontman who's not afraid to get out there and dance to the music like that, it really makes it easier for you to do the same and get into the music. I'm on a bit of a Limewire downloading binge at the moment, so I'll definitely have to get some of their work.

BTW - I googled them after the song around ten times before realizing that "!!!" was not a valid search entry. Just thought I'd share a great moment of genius I just had.

Oh, and yeah, as for Edie Brickell, if you're not that into that song, you probably wouldn't be into her other stuff. We've got some similar tastes on a lot of levels but differ when it comes to music like that. I've got a weird niche for hippie stuff like her music for some reason.

B- This classic rock somewhat entertains me at first but then it just starts to bore me. I guess I like music that is more upbeat, and move along a lot faster.

I liked the song. Nothing really mindblowingly creative or different, but its been pretty nice to listen to.

A- That song was pretty sick. I liked the upbeat rock a lot, but the lyrics didn't seem all that creative.

Oh man, I can't believe Black Rebel Motorcycle Club actually sold out. I looked in Best Buy advertising on a weekend when their latest album released and I was stunned to see, "Find 'Em First!" and "Great New Band!" I mean, how lost are these people? This is their fourth damn album, it just took most people in the US nearly a decade to finally notice them after they've been huge in Europe the entire time. Reminds me of Muse's scenario.

    Sing Along - C

I didn't like the music, but Dave's voice was good. The reason for that probably that it was done by the Blue Man Group and not the Dave Matthews Band. I'm not a big fan of their music, or college rock in general for that matter, but they definitely would have been better backing him.

Probably my favourite Incubus song, or at least the one I'm loving the most at the moment. They sound amazing live.

I think that's probably my favorite Incubus song as well, from the new era at least. I've really been getting into a lot of their older material lately, and it really doesn't compare. Everyone loves this song though. It's great when it comes on and everyone just starts singing along... "here in my room, here in my room," in unison.

I love the line - "You enter in fullblown technicolor, Nothing is the same after tonight."

Brandon's voice is also great live in this clip, and I didn't realize he played guitar.

C- Wow, talk about some boring music. Listening to this song makes watching paint dry look fun. I just don't feel these oldies rock songs you put on here, just not my type I guess....

Well, you have to understand that those songs aren't geared towards the A.D.D. 12-year old angsty pre-teen market like the **** you listen to.

For my taste, litsening to the vocals was an absolute chore. I'm not really into that kind of music or any Rob Zombie stuff for that matter.

Edit: Little harsh wasn't that VC? I mean the man obviously likes faster paced music, I guess he just needs to be exposed to the more slower melodic songs to "get the ears for it". I hated a lot of slow songs before as well but I became exposed to stuff like Under the Bridge and that slowly bridged the gap for me.

Edit#2: Tehehe "Bridged the gap" with the song Under the Bridge. I didn't realize it after I posted. Damn I'm good.

Oh, that piercing voice! Just horrible, dude needs some voice lessons as soon as possible.

Next up is something by an Australian band named Karnivool. They're a bit nu-metalish and I'll probably get some flack for that, but I love them.
