So far, Sacramento leads 46-36. Iverson has 6 points on 3-4 shooting, 2 assists, and 1 rebound

He should start shooting a little bit more, from the box scores it says he's taken 4. And he's 3-4, but only 1-4 from FT. But, no one else is shooting well.

Is it just me, or does A.I in a Nuggets uniform just look like it was always meant to be?

I'm thinking the same thing. The jersey just matches him, and it does seem like he was always a Nugget.

Iverson has been great tonight. 19 points on 8-11 shooting.

I thought AI did well tonight for not having practiced with them yet, being idle for two weeks and the hellafied travel schedule he had to deal with today. 22pts on 9-15 shooting and 10 dimes, not a bad line given the circumstances. I thought there were times he was being passive, but for the most part he played within the game plan and tried to blend in with his teammates. AI was also the only one to shoot over 50% from the floor, hitting on 60% of his shots!

Looks good in the jersey, but man what a ride it must of been for Iverson in the last month.

He said he hasn't been in the gym for the last two weeks. Why is that?

Lol at all the Sixers fan coming to Nuggets forum. [IMG] j/k

Even though he hasn't played for two weeks, he still played pretty well shooting wise. And I am loving his stats because those are the stats of a real point guard. If Melo can average 25 points a game (#1 option) and Iverson can average 20 points a game and get 10 assists a game (#2 option), I see the Nuggets going pretty far, as long as none of them try to take over and set each other up. Melo be the #1 option since this is his team and Iverson be the #2 option since he said he didnt want to take over and lead the team like he did in Philly. Nuggets have a chance to go deep in the playoffs if everything goes right, and no one ballhogs. Man if Iverson can keep on averaging 20 and 10, he could have the stats of a real point guard, and I think he is very capable of doing that since he is the #2 option.

The jersey matches him perfectly. An Iverson and Boykins little man duo would be tight. AI could show little Earl some of his moves. [IMG]

<div class="quote_poster">Answer_AI03 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">its too bad that fight had to happen. i want to see what this team is capable of now.</div>I know. They looked good in spurts last night, they just shot horribly from the field and couldn't defend worth a damn. AI was the only one who took more than 5 shots and shot .500 or better, he actually shot 60% from the field. The rest of the team shot like 32%. He could have had at least 15-20 dimes last night but they couldn't convert on alot of them, even though most of them were at point black range. But man, when Camby/Melo and JR get back, it's gonna be on!

<div class="quote_poster">Apollo Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Looks good in the jersey, but man what a ride it must of been for Iverson in the last month.</div>No kidding. I remember seeing him in last nights game looking up at the scoreboard and I thought "damn, it must be a trip for him to be looking up there, the boards can't be in the same place as they were in Philly." But yeah, once he gels with the rest of the guys, they're gonna be a problem.

<div class="quote_poster">Umair Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah Iverson sure do look like he was always meant to be a Nugget. Jersey suits him pretty well.</div>I thought so too. Although it did look a little tighter than he has worn in the past.

His strength is playing off the ball, and with him and Melo prowling around on the court free with a true pg distributing the ball, WOW!! Not that I think AI can't succeed at the point, but if he runs the point on this team, his ppg suffers more than if he doesn't.

That doesnt matter, I'm sure he had his own court at his mansion in Philly, and he could've had ample oppurtunity to go to a local gym around Philadelphia to get in some practice, practice, practice.

    Because he doesn't need to.

I think Allen's debut with the Nuggets was very good. 22 and 10 with a lot of bench players, and you don't even know the offense yet?

    This could be very good.

Also Phun how can the Nuggets colors be feminine? Isn't that a little juvenille? That baby blue-gold colorway is tight.
