C, I thought it was kool, but wasnt really Hip-Hop Also damn you Thrilla for stealing my next song! lol. Invalid Video Link
It was more like Soul, or R&B or what ever you want to call it, very James Brown like. There was no 'rapping' either.

Could everybody post the name of the song and artist, that way if anybody wants to get the song itll be easier. Reppin the CA, Tupac, California Love, the beginings alil wierd. Invalid Video Link
California Love gets a D. Probably the most overplayed song of all time. Invalid Video Link Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Common - Respiration
A+ One of my favourite songs. Gotta love any collab of Mos Def, Talib Kweli and Common. Notorious, the song I posted was "Livin Proof" by Group Home, it said that in the Video... Invalid Video Link "Tear It Down" by Army Of The Pharoahes

A Such a classic. Many a summer's day I've listened to that song while just cruisin and lovin' life! Here's mine... People Under The Stairs -- San Francisco Knights
B+, very good, I've heard of them before, but this is the first piece of music I've heard from them, very impressive, I'll have to peep more! Now this song isnt your traditional Hip-Hop song, infact its a dance track by German Trance DJ Ferry Corsten, although, Guru spits over this track, take a look: Invalid Video Link
A That's crazy man, I totally loved it. The video is crazy too, one of the best I've ever seen. Here's my contribution keeping up with a similar theme... Massive Attack Feat. Mos Def -- I Against I Invalid Video Link
A That was sick, went together really well. Invalid Video Link "What Happened To That Boy?" by Baby ft. The Clipse
C+ Real nice beat. Stupid lyrics/concept. Bonus points for making an unintentionally funny hook. Instead of following the old school trend, I'm posting up a song with one of my favourite beats and a funny video. Ignore the first 1:28 of the song (I couldn't find a video without the beginning of "As I Come Back" on it). If VC rates, he should either appreciate or absolutely hate the beginning. Busta Rhymes - Break Ya Neck Invalid Video Link
A+ Hahahaha, when you said "If VC rates, he should either appreciate or absolutely hate the beginning." I had to check it out. I thought you meant that stupid song in the beginning at first, and I was pretty confused. I like the tribute though (because I like Busta and I like the song). One of my favorites of his, and I'm really surprised I never noticed that intro, because I was way into that song when it came out. The YouTube video doesn't really do justice to that song though, because it used to be played all the time when I used to hang out at D&D (a club in Memphis that was the G.O.A.T. before it got shut down), and when the bass in that song would kick in you could just feel your whole body shifting... very effective and powerful bassline...
