Who'd have thunk it? The Bucks are only a game under .500 after another solid win over New Jersey. Here's something I posted a couple weeks back: <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Schaddy 12/5/06:</div><div class="quote_post">the Bucks will find out what type of team they are when they come home and play 4 of 7 at the Bradley Center, and we have a road game against the Knicks. The Bucks DEFINITELY have the talent to win four or five of these next seven games. If they can do that, I'll feel a hell of a lot better about our situation, and it'll put us in a position to be a serious contender for a playoff spot. </div> Since December 5th, the Bucks have gone 7-3 and moved into the East playoff picture. I wouldn't have thought it possible, but they're winning despite playing almost no defense. Charlie Bell and Mo Williams have stepped up lately; they're really creating problems with their speed and playmaking. Bell is just awesome, I've got to think he's an early candidate for 6th man of the year. When he's on, we win. It's that simple. Bogut has also asserted himself the past two weeks. He really played well against Ben Wallace, and he's scoring without getting a lot of shots. Like we've been saying since last season, the more shots Bogut can get, the better he is. He's got terrific offensive instincts and shoots a great percentage. Here's to the continued improvement of this young Bucks team, and defense be damned! (wow...did I say that?)
