Yeah, I'm just a little spoiled. January 8th is my "Christmas" though and all I want is a Gator win.</div> You're an Orlando resident, a Magic fan, but also a Redskins fan, and you were smart enough to get accepted into UF? Are you my doppleganger, douchenozzle?</div> My parents are from Maryland, but moved down here in 82. So I am loyal to the Orioles and Redskins. They never really liked basketball until the Magic came along(and I guess until i came along too). I kinda bounce around and I guess I was a bandwagon jumper back in the day when I was Swish's current age of 6-7 and picking teams. Baseball: Braves are my favorite(91 they started their division champion run) and were always on TV, so they were so convenient to follow. Orioles are my 2nd favorite and my dad's favorite. I have a bunch of Oriole memorabilia around the house and Cal Ripken Jr. is my favorite player of all time. I also like the local Tampa Bay Devil Rays, because I go to at least 1 game a year. (When I lived in Orlando I go to about 5-10). Basketball: Diehard Magic fan. (Shaq/Penny were there when I started liking them) I don't really have any secondary teams, although I do like watching the Mavs and Grizzlies play, not to mention Darrell was a Maverick last year. Football: This is where it gets fun. Redskins are my team(Growing up to Gibbs first era and they are probably my dad's favorite team to root for in all sports). I also like the Bucs and Jaguars, because they are local and I get them every single week, so it is so easy to follow them. And yes, I suppose I was smart enough to get into THE University of Florida. It is very underrated in terms of academics and normally very overrated in pre season expectations in sports, even though we are starting to turn it around in basketball/football. I always have liked the Gators over the Noles and they were my 2nd favorite college when I was growing up(Maryland-where both my parents went). I never really followed them until after I got accepted and now I am a diehard. I pour my heart and soul out on this school. If I could only choose one to root for I would DEFINETELY choose the Gators and then probably the Redskins, Magic, Braves in that order. Lastly, doppleganger, me like. I like douchenozzle a little better though.
