(11-16) vs (17-8) Streak Nets: Lost 2 Celtics: Won 4 Last Result Nets: Nets 104 @ Bucks 116 Celtics: Pistons 108 @ Hawks 81
<font size=""2"">Starting Lineup <font size=""2"">Stat Leaders Points Carter 26.3 Rebounds Kidd 8.4 Assists Kidd 9.6 Starting Lineup <font size=""2"">Stat Leaders Points Hamilton 20.9 Rebounds Wallace 9.1 Assists Billups 8.2
The Nets are coming off a two game losing streak and losing there starting center in Nenad. The Pistons will try to abuse the post all game long with the Nets being short handed in the paint. I expect a big game from Wallace and Mcdyss. The Nets chances of winning rely on the offense end, where leading scorer Vince Carter has been struggling and second leading scorer Nenad Krstic is hurt, and contain the perimeter on defense. If they contain Billups and Hamilton and let Wallace score as much as he wants downlow they should be alright.
Nets have their first lead. Carter made a big shot, but I'm not liking his game today. RJ on the other hand, is doing what Carter needs to do.

What the heck was that? Where is the damn call!? Are you serious.....we got screwed. Kidd 13 pts 9 rebs 7 asts Carter 28 pts 3 rebs 5 asts Jefferson 18 pts 4 rebs 3 asts Collins 14 pts 4 rebs Boone 6 pts 12 rebs Rest of Boxscore Interesting move by Frank, not playing Wright and Williams.
How did the game end? I saw on game channel that VC missed an 18 footer and the Nets got the rebound and called timeout with 1.2 (or 1.8) secs left.

Just saw the highlights, expected a more obvious foul. Only got one quick real time look at the play so I couldn't determine whether it was a foul or not, but it doesn't seem like a play the refs would call when the games on the line anyways. Not completely sure on that though.
That was fucking bullshit. That was a foul on Sheed but the dumbass referee was too stupid to make the call. We got screwed. This game was ours. On the bright side Collins got 14 points and Boone got 12 rebounds. I was actually happy to see Frank get up and show emotions towards the refs. I think he was screaming out "**** YOU!" at the end of the game.

One Nets player (forgot his name) tripped Prince, and I dont know if it was a foul the refs would let the game be decided upon or not, but ... it had almost no effect on Carter's shot at all. He had a clear look, he missed. End of story
After all the terrible bailout calls the Nets got in the final 5 minutes, the basketball gods have a nice way of equally It all out in the end.

It's a shame. You make some bad calls, but you don't go blatantly missing them cause you feel it is owed.
