    Utah Trade Breakdown

    Successful Scenario
Due to L.A. Clippers and Utah being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. L.A. Clippers and Utah had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Throw in a 1st to Clippers on that deal too

This Deal would help both teams, the Clips get a young talent that could be a top 20 pick this year IMO, cap relief with Hoffa, and a good Vet that can shoot. Utah gets that starting SG they need and can move Fisher back to their horrible bench.

Utah might have interest in Maggette now, I hope they make a move soon.

Does anyone think Maggette will be dealt before the deadline?

    Yes.

Where? Who knows. Orlando seems like a great fit for them, but not sure how the salaries would be matched up. Hedo would have to be involved and their would have to be someone else included like Ariza, who I'm not quite sure the Magic want to deal.

He'd look nice in SA, with Bowen declining. Imagine a team with Duncan and four relentless attackers on the court. Wows.
