With Paul Pierce not playing you'd think the Warriors would win.

Then again, the Warriors always find a way to make a bench player look like Jordan.
Seattle was without Ray Allen but Damien Wilkins goes and has a career night with 22pts 9 rebs. Seattle vs. GS

Toronto was without Chris Bosh... that should be a laugher, right? Nope -- somebody forgot to guard "Mo Pete" and he dropped 23pts 9reb off the bench . Toronto over GS

I remember Bobby Simmons' first career blowout game when he just dropped trousers and scored 30+ as a bench scrub.... against the Warriors.

They always manage to help some unknown dude get on Sportscenter. So let's just hope Leon Powe doesn't come in and light up JRich for 40 off the bench [IMG]

Andrea Bargnani also did good against the Warriors as did Trevor Ariza. And don't forget Kapono... it's just sad what the Warriors do.

The game IS at home though. Warriors are doing just as good as the elite teams when playing at home.

True -- man that last game against the Sixers was just a clinic -- even with JRich playing like Bill Curley, GS still had it clicking on all cylinders. Thank you Matt Barnes!!!

The thing is that Portland, Los Angeles (Clippers), and Sacramento are also beating the hell out of Boston and Philadelphia.

Hope Nellie uses Ike,A point a minute can be pretty handy even if it's not your "style"

And more recently Jason Kapono's performance vs the Warriors.

But yeah, the Warriors need to win this game, and quite frankly, they should win. This is a home game vs. the East and the Celtics minus Paul Pierce.

They need to put them away by 20-30pts early like they did against Philly. Come out with some fire and energy and put them away quietly. Then rest up for the game in OKC cause I will be there and I want to see a good road showing. Especially if Chris Paul can come back from that ankle sprain...

Just keep Jefferson from getting off and the Warriors will be fine. Warriors need to come out and play like they own the floor and do it.

YES! Ike is the only one on this team that has true big man offense skills and that could help us win games if the other team has no defense against it, inside or out. This is why I can't endorse small ball which excludes Ike and where the media says it's his fault or its his attitude. Nelly's style just gets old, but I guess we can't blame the guy given the team structure and who we had before. But, this small ball style it just doesn't go anywhere after a while.

Plus, shouldn't we be developing our rookies? Plus, I'd rather not fake being an early exit playoff team, and get us that high '07 first round pick! [IMG] Face, it we only choose to be bad or mediocre when the lotto draft isn't deep. Let's change that and become the Bulls where even if we waste a top 3 pick on the likes of Curry/Chandler, we still can pick up a Deng, Gordon, or Hinrich. If we're going to be bad let's be really bad at the right times. If they showed our draft history on a graph, it would be some weird parabolas showing how we miss all the good drafts in the 1-7 slot because we keep getting #8-11 picks. Then when we finally get the 1-5 it's in a lousy draft where the best player out of it may be Jrich/Kenyon Martin or some high ceiling guy in the #9 who experts say that is a stretch to take at 1-5 like a T-mac/Kevin Garnett/or an Amare Stoudamire. Frustrating! We definitely won't build our team through free agency that is for sure!

I don't know what we're doing anymore except trying to move forward and eventually take two steps back. I'd feel more confident if our GM took bad teams and made them into good teams, but maybe that's another reason why Nelson is here. I just hope he doesn't ignore every good big man prospect or swingman prospect in the pursuit of his point forward for his smallball running team. I hope Mullin is there to say the last word when it comes to drafting because I hope we have a balanced team and not some weird team that has one strength going one way and two weaknesses going the other.

I hope from a fan's standpoint that we do well against Boston. But man I feel like there's been a catch 22 all season thus far regarding deep draft and improvement enough to make the playoffs. I don't think our team has talent worthy of making an 8th seed, but we shall see if we can improve our win record at home and on the road. Then we can start believing.

I just hope this guy doesn't go off on us again. From Jamison, to Murphy to Dunleavy, our SF/PF tweeners sure love to give up a lot of points to other SF/PF's...

on TV, Stackhouse got more allstar votes than Baron...? I've lost my faith in nba fans...

Baron is the only reason we're at .500. Every game he's played he's kept us in it on more than one occasion by himself and he's made others better around him when those players weren't that good to begin with or they don't fit without Baron Davis gluing everybody together.

Until the Warriors make the playoffs, we will not get national recognition for our team or any of their players. Now if Baron was the leading scorer in the NBA he might make it, but he is middle of the road and only arguably All Star quality compared to everyone else as far as the nation outside of the Warrior nation is considered.

Well-Nellie's still trying to mold Ike into a scrub center role, fortunately J Rich has been looking frisky and Beans is dominating inside.

That's really unfortunate for Ike. He's not going to develop correctly under Nelson IMO.

But good for Biedrins. The guy's got some smarts too. The guy really knows how to read Baron and where to be off the ball.

I like small ball-but it's like a baseball pitcher with a changeup-it better be a changeup from something or hitters anticipate it. If Nellie gets hung up on smallball being his trademark, and stubbornly over uses it----teams will be ready.

I totally agree. But I guess in Nelson's case he has no choice to use it because of our weird roster. Also maybe Ike isn't doing something right that fits with what the other four players are trying to accomplish. I think Ike can be pretty late passing the ball out of the double team at times, but maybe the guy is hungry to start scoring. And whenever he tries to get a rebound, it's like watching Foyle trying to come up with the ball in traffic sometimes. Guy needs a little more height to get at it like Biedrins and Murphy do. Either that or he needs to clear people out like Fortson and Brand do.
