they've been looking to trade him and two teams have made offers... the Falcons and the Seahawks. Seahawks offered their 31st pick for him. The Falcons however offered their 2nd rounder. But the Jets inquired about Matt Schaub the 24 year old backup to Vick who is very good and i would be very happy to have him as the QB of the future here. Unfortunatly the Falcons refused to trade a 2nd rounder and Schaub for Abraham. Which i think is ridiculous especially since Abraham wants to be in Atlanta cause its near his home. A happy Abraham is a 15+ sacks Abraham. It would be awesome for both the jets and the falcons since Falcons have Vick and hes not goin anywhere. So why wont they trade a 2nd rounder and a backup for a probowl DE. It doesnt make sense to me. for now it looks as if the best choice is takin a late 1st rounder from the Seahawks. Any thoughts on where Abraham is going?

Absolutely 2) Do falcons have faith Vick is the man. NO. Or they would make trade and draft a new backup and take the risk. Vick isnt what the hype says he is, and they think schaub is going to take the job.
I think with the Ramsey deal, the Jets are set at QB. He will most likely go to the seahawks, because now someone would have to give better than the 31st pick to get Abraham. All that needs to be worked out is a contract

alright u caught me with the sacks i overhyped him a bit but hes still got he potential for improvement. i dont think ramsey is the answer at QB, the Skins obviously didnt think so highly of him after trading him for a 6th rounder
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (J-E-T-S 1083)</div><div class='quotemain'>i dont think ramsey is the answer at QB, the Skins obviously didnt think so highly of him after trading him for a 6th rounder</div> the redskins needed to clear that salary so they could overpay for other free agents....in a perfect, non-capped world, Ramsey would be there....
I'd love to see Abraham in a Falcons uniform, he would be a great addition to the D. However as far as the Schaub deal goes, the Falcons don't appear to be ready to part ways with him just yet. After all he has been a solid backup for us when Vick went down with injuries during the season. It looks as if they are just hanging on to him for insurance. I believe that the organization has faith in Vick and that he will be the man in Atlanta for years to come but I can see why the Falcons aren't willing to give up Schaub so easily. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see JA end up in Seattle now, what a shame!
Vikings are really making a strong push for Schaub. The Jets have reportely backed out of it. Listen to this. ESPN's John Clayton reported on Insider (my new toy hahaha) that Miami offered Atlanta a 2nd round pick for Schaub before they even made contact about Brees and Culpepper and Atlanta turned them down.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (bakes781)</div><div class='quotemain'>What are the Vikings offering?</div> It didn't say. I would assume if Minnesota really wanted him they'd have to give up both 2nd's or their first for him.
