BA, I just heard on the NFL Network that the Dolphins are courting Lavar Arrington. (I have reservations about this because I think Arrington has failed to live up to his hype.) If the Dolphins sign Arrington, would that change your draft projection?

Ingle Martin is looking more like a 3rd or 4th round pick now.. He's really had some great workouts.

I, too, have reservations about Arrington. I've heard Jacsonville is offering more $.

Signing Lavar probably won't affect the #16 pick, Miami needs depth at LB.

I think the Saints might be drafting Whitworth in the 2nd round, if they don't get DBrick.

I have then taking Ferguson. After all, they lost Bentley. Brees will need some protection.

I'd hate to see N'awlins spend all that $ on a franchise QB & have him get injured.

    Thanks for the update.

I think if Miami drafts a QB that high I'd rather it be Reggie McNeal of Texas. McNeal was clocked w/ a 4.35 in the 40 which was the fastest. If QB doesn't work out, they could move him to RB or WR.

Imagine Booker (option QB in H.S.) and/or McNeal in a slash type role.

I think they will try to trade down in the 1st round if they can, but assuming they cant:

    1.Antonio Cromartie, CB, FSU
    3.Claude Wroten, DT, LSU
    4.Skyler Green, WR/PR, LSU
    7a.Drew Olsen, QB, UCLA
    7b.Greg Threat, SS, Miami
    7c.Will Allen, G, Texas

Other than Cromartie, I like this draft. I have reservations about spending a 1st round pick on someone recovering from Serious leg injury.

Kyle Williams (DT LSU) instead of Wroten is a possibility.

As much as I like Brett Basanez of NWestern, he will probably be a carbon copy of Jay F. I would prefer Reggie McNeal in the 3rd or 4th.

Heres the thing about Cromartie....hes been healing from that injury for over a year now....at his pro day, he ran twice under 4.4....he also recorded a short shuttle that was amazing....he has skills, amazing skills....I think he has the biggest upside of all the CBs(except Huff)....he also has the lowest floor, but Im not worrying about floors with Saban around....I could see Kyle Williams too, but much later than the round they took Wroten in....both would fit as ends in 3-4 and DTs in the 4-3 giving them the young flexiblilty they want....

I think Cromartie is the best CB in this draft.. I think Huff is a better S than Cromartie but at CB I think Cromartie has more upside. If it wasn't for the injury he was a top 15 pick in this draft and if he stayed and had a good year next year he would of gone top 10. He has great hips. Great size and is great in coverage. Amazing speed as well. I think he could be a great CB in this league. If he falls to round 2 which is highly unlikely I would love for Green Bay to jump all over him.
