I was looking up to see what our former loser GM had gotten out of the Doug Christie situation, and I stumbled across this forum. While I was saddened to have my memory refreshed that we got absolutely nothing, that was offset by the excitement at finding a bunch of people who seem to be very informed NBA fans in general, and Magic fans in particular on this forum. I look forward to interacting with you all, whether agreeing or disagreeing. I think we have a wonderful young team with a tremendous upside. We're still growing and expanding in the chemistry thing, and I believe that it won't be TOOOO long until we're back where we belong - in the Eastern Conference Finals, and then in the big dance. P.S. And to finish the original thing I'd been looking up with the Christie thing, it looks like essentially we got Ariza, Arroyo, and Milicic for T-Mac. All in all, I think a very good deal for us once it finally settled.
Geaux Tigers!! Hey, GatorsowntheNCAA Yes, I'm an LSU fan, though not nearly as much so as a Magic fan. I'm guessing from your nick that makes us rivale, but I don't really follow college sports as avidly as I do professional. That said, it's kinda' tatooed on one's backside to root for LSU and for the Saints if one is born in New Orleans.
