<div class="quote_poster">NTC187 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I just classify all Electronic music as "Techno" or "Dance", instead of having to say "oh I listen to Drum & Bass, Trance, House, Electro etc. etc."

I dont mind a bit of drum and bass myself, my favourite is DJ Dara. The only thing I dont like about it is I find it gets just a bit too repetative at times, especially when some songs drag on for 4-5 minutes.

Do you listen to Pendulum Premium?</div>

Some of it can get repeditive...gotta listen to the right stuff and mix it up [IMG]

I love pendulum. The "Voodoo People" remix is one of my fav tunes. Love their drums...so heavy! [IMG]

They're back down here at the moment, my friend went and saw them a couple of weeks ago, he said it was an awesome show.

Speaking of the Prodigy, are you a fan of them? I think they're awesome, I love their song "Girls".

Depends on where you are. Here in the GTA there's "ginos" who listen to this kind of music 24/7 while dressing a certain way. Is "gino" just a GTA term by the way? Or do other places use it too?</div>

Gino is really a GTA term, even in montreal they don't use it too much. In the states I think the term they use is guido, although there's a slightly different stigma to it. Back in the day I may have been quilty of wearing too much diesel clothing and going to palazzo nightclub a few too many times. Not that it made me a "gino" ... ok i guess the writing is on the wall.

Personally, I listen to trance, house, and eurodance quite a bit. Z1035 and clubbing printed it into my brain. I listen to other stuff too, but this is what I like the most.

I've been listening to a lot of international techno/trance music lately because it's really relaxing to listen to but catch sort of. They're really really long man, is there any certain ones that are good but without the annoying little squeaky voices, or even ones without voices at all?

Went and saw DYEWITNESS (aka DJ Misjah) last night, was f'n awesome, just pure old school Hard Trance and Acid all night long. I was on X too (no alcohol), which made it an even more intense experience.

    Haha! Yeah I remember.

Nice stoof there man. That's the kind of music I still put into my Need for Speed games on the PC. You can't play NFS without that on there, seriously. Cause when I play those games rock is basically the last thing I want to hear, unless it is coming from Apartment 26, Cloud Room or Refused.

DJ Shadow is pretty good, gets stale after a while though. Like a lot of techno artists anyway, but still love it.

TBH it's all annoying to me. I can't stand it. I'm all down for Ambient/Downtempo. I know I'm gonna sound ignorant when I say this, but most of it sounds EXACTLY the same. I just can't shake the feeling that I've listened to it before. It's not that electronica and such isn't my cup of tea per se, but I just don't like dance music.
