<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">After O’Neal and Pierce, Deng (18.0 ppg, 6.5 rpg) figures to be next in line at forward. The primary competition would come from Washington, with Caron Butler (20.5 ppg) and Antawn Jamison (19.4 ppg).

Deng should be able to win that battle. His field-goal percentage (.537) is well above Butler and Jamison, plus the Wizards should already have Arenas on the squad, not to mention that Washington is the league’s worst defensive team. If NBA executives decided to pick new teams, no one would choose Jamison ahead of Deng.

Besides the all-star possibilities, the emergence of Deng and Gordon this season just about eliminates any chance of the Bulls making a major trade this season.

To make a serious run at Kevin Garnett, Minnesota would almost certainly demand one of those players in return, and the Bulls aren’t eager to give them up.</div>

I wonder if this guy realizes the ballot has Okafor listed as a forward, not center.

One of my jobs for a magazine a while back was to show how bad other people are at putting out careless or useless information. This and the Gasol one would be easy.

Gordon has also picked it up with 20+ per game off the bench, but I don't think he'll make it.

The east is simple too deep at guard Arenas, Carter, Redd, Johnson, Kidd, Wade, etc.

Never listened to the band. I actually just liked the way the name sounded.
