At least they changed back although you could of course as well say that a change in mid-season is not good for some reasons. But IMO it's better to have the ball back that most players want as soon as possible than maybe closing out the season with the syntethic ball in order to give the players a period of time to get used to the leather ball again.

I could understand if players were complaining about the old ball and Stern did something about it, but he just changed it just for the sake of changing it. Oh, wait, using a microfiber ball must have been another one of Stern's brainstorms when trying to figure out how to improve the leagues' image
