I'm not sure why we waived him though. Smith is still young, and has tons of potential. Plus, it wasn't like he was getting paid a lot either. He had a very small contract. Maybe we're looking for a veteran free agent?
The 76ers are probably the worst organization in the league at giving people opportunities. We signed Matt Barnes twice promising him playing time and never gave it to him, we signed Skinner twice back in the day and never gave him PT, can't say I'm surprised.
I think the sixers need to find a coach and a GM that are going to be on the same page when they are bringing in, siging, or trading players.
