Well, I already had my left one pierced but I wanted to pierce both so I got my right one pierced yesterday. For those of who don't have your ears pierced, it doesn't really hurt, it's like anticipating getting a needle basically. Although, I remember when I was piercing my left one around 2 years ago, the gun got stuck for like 5 or so seconds and the lady had to pull it out in some next way. Anyways, how many of you guys rock earrings here? I used to always want to get my cartilage pierced before but that fascination has kind of died down. I think cartilage studs look really sexy on girls though.
I used to have my ear's pierced, but I got annoyed with having to take them off everytime I played organized basketball.

I'm not gonna keep my right earring for a long time though, or either of them to be honest. I guess I'll take them out permanently when I'm like 22, 23, something like that.
Yes, my father also believes earrings are for girls, and ridicules me (he's really funny though) when I bring up the subject. I don't need them anyway.
Earings are for Pirates! Seriously though, I'm not an earing kind of guy, never had them pierced, not planning on getting them done either. I'm not against it or anything, just not my style.

I just got my cartilage near the top of my ear re-peirced last week (it closed up because the first time I got it pierced, the lady put it in the wrong place and it never healed properly)......I've got 3 in my left ear, and one in my right.....I feel naked if I'm not wearing them. EDIT just to let you know I rock cubics.....as long as the diamond conflict is happening in the motherland I won't buy a single "real" diamond.

I love cartilage piercings on girls and I love any long silver or loopy earrings on them as well. I don't like any extra over-the-top type crazy-colored and awkward-shaped earrings though, that's just unattractive. I like simple things in girls so loops or silver earrings/cartilages will do it for me.
I've had both my ears pierced for about two years. I used to rock the diamonds but now i wear silver hoops. Not for any particular reason, I just thought "hey i'm gonna get my ears pierced." So I did.
