I heard that they plan to rotate it so every team gets an opportunity. I don't know if I necessarily like it, but I'm not too concerned. I am very excited that they chose the Vikings for the opening Monday night game. I don't know why they did it, but it should let us see just how good this team is going to be.
I like that Miami is going to Pittsburgh....Im sure the Steelers will be getting thier rings and I want the Dolphins players there to see that....I want them to see what its like....
Arent they putting a new rule in that the Monday Night and Sunday Night games can be changed so that what happened this year with crap teams playing, they can change to good matchups like Bucs vs Panthers.

Pride goeth before the fall much like Denver fans, I'm sure, were thinking last year about this time. It was also stated that its better to face the phins early rather than late? the rationale being Culpepper may not be ready. The phins usually start strong and have done so w/ lesser staffs & inferior QB's Last year's finish was nice but I am not ready to say the december swoon is over yet. Though, with Saban, Miami will be ready at all times during the season. Further, some say that Mularkey is a liabilty for Miami. I thought MM did okay in the steel city and it was only as head man in Buffalo that he stunk. Its far too early to predict an outcome but Capers as Miami's DC will have an impact.
I could understand if the early monday night game were Philly vs the Vikes but the Redskins?? I'll bet Miami vs Minnesota will be on Primetime.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (blackadder)</div><div class='quotemain'>I'll bet Miami vs Minnesota will be on Primetime.</div> I'll bet that it will be toward the end or at the middle of the season and it will be a Monday or Sunday night game.
