2 bad calls. Hinrich got fouled when he went up for the lay-up and called of Wallace's tip. We would have been down 1.

Talk about a screw job at the end of the game. First the no call on the Hinrich shot and than a horrible goal tending call. Way to go refs, you beat the Bulls tonight.
never been so mad that there's nothing to do but smile at the fact that you wanna kill someone cause you were screwed?...I do it with my ex-girl friend all the time
Hinrch has been OC all season. Duhon isnt agressive at all. Noch is 3 happy and all of our guards besides gordon are afraid to take it to the cup. My girlfriend calls it the "Force field" if you have watched the bulls you know what she means. If you dont finish on the penetration sometimes penetration gets harder and harder because there is no threat of a score off of the drive. I feel a 10 paragraph rant coming on so let me stop while im ahead. My starting lineup is Gordon Thabo Deng Thomas Wallace

Not to mention the Bulls just gave Hinrich a huge contract extension, officially making him one of the teams future center pieces. I don't know how you would start Gordon over Hinrich if you are talking about having a "force field" Hinrich is a superior defender.

When gordon is at the point and deng and thabo are at the 2&3 the bulls slook great. It seems like Hinrich and Noch are the most untouchable players on the team. No matter how many mistakes they make on court they can do no wrong in skiles eyes. Hinrich is a good defender but thabo has shown he can guard the best guards in the league. I would prefer a 6'7" guy guarding not a 6'2-3 guy. right now if I had to choose a starter it would be Gordon. IMO hinrich was better before we put him at the 2. Im sick of him playing out of his natural position its ruining him in my eyes. If you think that the lineup of ... Duhon Hinrich Deng Noch Wallace is gonna cut it come playoff time then the bulls might as well bring a knife to a gun fight. the things that Gordon are bringing to the table right now is what we need in a starter. I'm not saying hinrich is garbage but right now with his play neither he nor Duhon deserves a starting job. My starting lineup provides a lengthy backcourt and strong rebounding. Noch is chucking up way too many 3 right now and IMO has gotten a bit too cocky. He doesnt drive to the basket very often any more and has fell in love with the 3. He needs to be near the paint getting rebounds and scoring on putbacks/ dunks, thats when he is most effective.

When Hinrich is on the court with Duhon we are essentially playing with two point guards. No one is really playing out of position as both Duhon and Hinrich handle the ball. Although, Thabo is a solid defender, Gordon on the other hand is mediocre. Having him and Thabo in the backcourt would hurt us both defensively, and especially offensively. Gordon has shown horrible decision making over the course of the season. I would not want him running the offense. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">is gonna cut it come playoff time then the bulls might as well bring a knife to a gun fight. the things that Gordon are bringing to the table right now is what we need in a starter. Who is to say doing it again this season will not cause the same result? Gordon is playing much better off the bench this season (averaging 20 points while shooting 44%) than when he was starting (averaging 13 points shooting 39%). Hinrich has been struggling because he is injured, as has Nocioni. However, benching either would be a poor choice as they bring it defensively every night and are not to shabby offensively either. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">My starting lineup provides a lengthy backcourt and strong rebounding. As you know when you have any type of problems with your legs, playing basketball down low becomes extremely difficult. Your lineup hurts us offensively while keeping us at best, pat par defensively. You are talking about moving two of our best defenders to the bench while placing a rookie with a good defensive reputation and a guard who has below average decision making ability into the starting lineup.
I know blur but he has never started as the PG with the bulls. PG is his natural position. he played it at U conn and took then to the Chip with an injured Okafor. Im saying we should give him a shot at starting PG. If duhon can get a shot shouldnt ben be able to get a shot also? thats really the point Im trying to make. Gordon deseres a shot at the PG with duhon and hinrich playing at a low level. I disagree with your comment about when duhon and hirich are in they both play point. when hinrich is in with duhon hinrich becomes a scorer and has the green light.

I don't recall who started at point guard by name. However, if you want to confirm this you can check it out at wikepedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Gordon . Gordon is a great scorer, but like I have already stated he makes bad choices, and I don't want a guy like that running the offense. An example of bad choices as far as passing goes just look at last nights game when he was double teamed and threw the ball away leading to a wide open Jason Kidd layup. One thing both Hinrich and Duhon have that Gordon doesn't is an excellent turnover to assist ratio. Both of the guys have above average basketball IQ's which make them perfect candidates to play point guard. As far as Hinrich having a green light when Duhon is in the game. That is partially true because Duhon is not exactly an incredibly gifted offensive player Hinrich does have to step it up a bit offensively. however, he still handles the ball and brings the ball up when Duhon is in the game. Thus having the offense run through him as though he was playing point guard.
I still think that ben deseres a shot at the PG. Like I said all of our guards have poor decision making. twice during the game I remember duhon pulling up for jumpers on 4 vs 2 breaks when we shoulve got layups. we can recall plays for all 3 guards that are suspect. But I think that Gordon will eventually become a gilbert calibur player and could be great at the point along side Thabo and deng to start. Gordon would have to guard the opposing teams PG. Ben Gordons D has grown leaps and bounds and will continue to get better.

He does a great job of holding on to the ball, something you can't say about Gordon. Gordon has never been in charge of running an offense in large part do to this.Your entitled to your opinion. However, at this point Hinrich is a proven defender and an above average point guard. While Duhon has an excellent turnover to assist ratio. If it was up to me I would have Hinrich and Gordon starting, but never bench Hinrich and Duhon.
