Leading Utah! Last I checked, 27-15 us. McGrady's playing lights out while all the role players are doing pretty nice jobs.
Chuck Hayes is playing poorly this game. He's given up a couple offensive boards, and made some dumb defensive plays. Dikembe is getting it done though.
Hey what happened to trading TMac? 35 already and the third isn't even over. *Goes and votes for TMac in the ASG*
finally some posts here, strange thing when i checked here today, no game previews guess everyone is busy .anyway, Tmac is great with 44 pts , hope we can grab a win as our hard road-trips starts
Why couldn't T-Mac leave to watch his sisters baby be born or something, he just torched Utah today. Deke was good today too. Okur had an off day, when that happens it's hard to win, especially with T-Mac going nuts
That's the T-Mac I want to see ALL the time!!!! He's literally elevated the play of everyone else on the team!!!!! When Yao get's back...man....look out in the playoffs!!
lol they had him on 610 radio and called him the cookie monster. lol im gonna have to admit he sounds like him ALOT. Tmac is god right now. he will easily win player of the week honors and when Yao comes back then we will go crazy.
I'm very sorry guys for not doing the game preview tonight. I was having a very busy schedule today that I was'nt able to steal some time to do the preview. POST GAME ANALYSIS: Another great game by the Rockets. This time against a winning team extending their winning streak to five games. The Rockets were able to neutralize the Jazz frontcourt as well as the pick n roll. Boozer,Okur and Kirilenko were not able to dominate the game courtesy of a very good defensive game from Deke, Howard and Battier. Winning the rebound battle was a big plus for the Rockets as the Jazz were known to be leading the league in rebounding differential due to their physical and hustling game. Mutombo continues to prove that he's not too old at all. It was his fifth game to garner double digits rebounds. His mere presence distracted Boozer and Okur. Of course one of the main reason for the Rockets winning streak is the continued explosive performance by TMac. Since finding the right cure for his back spasm he has been aggressive and has made everyone around him better. The next series of matchups are very tough for the Rockets consisting mostly against winning teams. Knowing that they can still play effectively without Yao by having big contributions from everyone as well as enhanced team chemistry they might be able keep up with the challenges.
Really, I don't know if I'm more impressed by T-Mac or Mutombo game. T-Mac was fantastic but guys, Deke... 40 years still eating young players alive!
I wonder if 19 rebounds is a record for 40 year old players. I doubt Kareem ever got that many in his 40s.
Dike did great and T-mac was crazy. Is it me or it could be that T-mac is the old T-mac because of the old-new ball? It seems like his shooting % are way up since the league reverted back to the old ball.

Besides playing those high school/college kids, I don't think he even touched a basketball in the offseason. Glad to see hes back in his groove. As for Mcgrady, its safe to say hes back. I was holding my judgement, but 4 games of stellar performance convinced me that Tmac is back. Btw Eduardo, his good streak started with the two games with the new ball, before reverting back to the old one against Seattle. Very poor game on Hayes part, and Rafer missed tons of layups/shots. Howard was on an off day I guess. Didn't think we would beat Utah this badly. Btw, has Steve Novak's shot deterioated this badly? Or is it still the NBA jitters.
Hey you guys have you noticed how good this run and period is actually to the houston rockets. Not only are we finding out what our role players can do and by now we have found that we can win with one dominant player something mcgrady wasn't able to do in orlando. The best thing about this run is while we are winning yao is recovering in all parts of his body not only his knees but a lot of the wear and tear of his body over the past few years will start to clear up and yao could be further revitalized.
<div class="quote_poster">THE DREAM Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Tmac is looking beastly as of late....I can't wait until Yao gets back!!!</div> The question is can Tmac keep up his level of play when Yao gets back. ...then we'd be an extreamly tough team to beat.
