Will he get enough votes to start in the All-Star Game? That would be a definite no. He was able to get voted in for three seasons before because no one else was heads and shoulders above other star guards in the West besides Kobe, but now there's TMac and Iverson to contend with.

The idea would be TMac running the offense and Francis playing off the ball. I don't know if Francis would buy into that, and with his recent knee problems, who knows if Francis will ever return to All-Star form.

penny hardaway's knee is supposedly healed and he lives in houston... he obviously would be just a 10-15 min/game guy at best, but he could potentially be a good option for the Rockets as a secondary ballhandler off the bench with some experience.
