For a couple of days! I hope I didn't scare any of you. This morning(in about 3 hours and 45 minutes) I will be waking up to head to the airport for my 7 am flight. I will be detouring through Chicago before I head out to Glendale, Arizona for the national championship game. I will be in Glendale in the afternoon and will be there on the 6th, 7th, of course the 8th, and I fly out of Phoenix on the 9th. I am going to be back in Florida late on the 9th(around 9-10 pm ish) and then have a nice 2-3 hour drive to Gainesville so that I can get up for my 9:35 am class on the 10th. So you all probably won't see me until the afternoon/evening of the 10th. This journey will be loads of fun and will likely consist of cheering for the Gators, tailgating, going to pep rallies, and of course drinking. Not to mention getting almost ZERO sleep. I bought a digital camera, so I will be taking LOTS AND LOTS of pictures. Especially after we win. So enjoy your 4 days without me. Don't miss me too much. You guys better cheer the Magic on to victory while I am gone and don't bash Brian Hill too much, leave some for me. Oh and of course.... GO GATORS!!!!!!!!!
Have fun bro, I'll be rooting on the Gators from home. Hopefully they can win one for you since you're making the trip all the way out there.

I had a fun time. It was fucking amazing. I am still speechless(in our victory and the fact that I still haven't gotten my voice back). This was the game that I had been waiting the entire season for the Gators to play. The Gators have played B games the entire season other than LSU(B+). I was thinking it was just a matter of time for this game to happen. It feels so great to silence all critics. At the hotel, after watching the report about how bad Chris Hetland was and especially after Lee Corso saying to NEVER KICK A FG... I called 3 FG's by Hetland in a 30-28 game. I had no idea that our D would perform this good. I figured we could pressure Troy Smith some, but that was just ridiculous. Amazing gameplan by Charlie Strong, the OSU offensive line was just too big and couldn't stop the speed of our defensive line. A couple of the sacks were coverage sacks, so our secondary played extremely well too, even without a Reggie Nelson sighting. What could you possibly say about Chris Leak. That was possibly the best game he had played all season. Urban Meyer really zoned him in. He made very smart decisions by throwing the ball away and the opening snap of the 2nd half in which the snap was fumbled, Leak picked it up to throw it away. In any other game this season he likely would have just fallen on it or got taken out of rhythm and thrown a great pass. He controlled the entire offense and just continued to make good reads and get the ball in the hands of the playmakers. He was calm and collected and hopefully we will see him in the "Ring of Honor"(includes Wuerffel, Spurrier, Emmitt Smith, and Jack Youngblood), because he is a top 2 QB in our schools history. I am so happy for this kid, he has been a total class act throughout his up and down 4 years at UF. He deserves this trophy as much as anyone going through 3 different offensive systems and getting stuck in one that doesn't fit him, plus getting some grief from fans and still putting him in the Top 2 in all of the school's passing history. The officiating was consistent, couple of bad calls from both sides. The obvious hold on Reggie Nelson on the opening kickoff and the roughing the passer call that extended the drive on their other TD. There was an obvious delay of game that Leak hiked a good 2-3 seconds late that we got a first down on that should have been a delay of game. Then there were a couple of questionable spots that favored the Gators. The play that pretty much summed up this entire game was LB Earl Everett getting his helmet knocked off and still chasing down and making a tackle on Troy Smith when it looked like Smith had quite a bit of running room. I will likely miss Earl Everett the most out of any of the players that we lose this season.
I believe everyone can see this, here is my first album on facebook. I am just waiting on my friend to post his pics somewhere so that I can use his as well and create a new album. http://ufl.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2220...8392&id=2009757 Here are a couple more pics with some of the people that I went to the game with.....
Since you brought up Facebook, lemme ask a question I've always wanted to. Know any NCAA athletes who have Facebook?

Lots of athletes have them. Joakim Noah has one as does the majority of the football/basketball teams at UF. There's groups at UF that is strictly about poking the opposing teams players. It's pretty funny.
